Career Coach, Head of GTM | [email removed] | Clients from JP Morgan, Tesla, Capgemini, Mercedes, Renault, EY, Microsoft, Google | Helped build 3 Clay alternatives
I started my career sleeping on concrete bricks. I got paid pennies for 15 hours of work, seven days a week. That job ended in late 2017 when GST and demonetization hit the construction industry. Then during the COVID pandemic I welcomed my daughter into this world, and started a delivery business with my wife, I built from nothing. We baked cakes, delivered groceries, and made it work for seven months. And when restrictions lifted, people went back to shops and the business disappeared overnight. Sitting with that, I asked myself one question: what would actually make me hireable? That question sent me into a rabbit hole; LinkedIn, resumes, job search outreach, and eventually I realized that an interview is also a sales conversation. A resume is also sales deck. I dove into sales systems and psychology. I became obsessed with understanding why most outreach fails and what actually moves a qualified prospect toward a conversation. I started writing resumes for people who felt stuck. I started building outbound systems for companies whose pipeline had dried up. The same problem kept showing up on both sides. Most people and most companies are not failing because of a lack of effort. They are doing the right things with no system underneath. So I built systems. Today I run The Ascension Company. On the GTM side, I have generated $50M+ in pipeline for B2B clients, expanded total addressable markets by 10x through data enrichment and outbound automation, and helped drive Sendr.ai to the number two spot on Product Hunt. On the career side, I have grown my LinkedIn audience to 75K+ followers organically, written 1,000+ resumes and reviewed thousands more improved, and coached jobseekers at every career stage. If you are a founder or sales leader who wants outbound that works, DM me. Also DM me if you are a professional figuring out your next career move.

Why did I partner with Prospeo.io to get my audience 50% off the yearly plan when LeadMagic beat them on deliverability, 100% to 97% and 0 dead emails vs Prospeo’s 2? Prospeo rebuilt their database and ran a lead list insent them against 7 competitors. On coverage, mobile nos. and price, Prospeo came first of 8. It found 58 real emails out of 100. It found every mobile number. It's in a Notion doc you can have, free: • 50% off code for Prospeo. • The Prospeo test results • ICP targeting guide, 111 filter combos • 9 cold call openers and 23 objection replies • A 6 email sequence • An agency retainer guide Comment "KIT" and I’ll message you the link to the doc with the code and freebies. Cheers!
Someone took a chance on me before I had anything to prove. Today, I help people with resumes, careers and personal branding. People see the experience. The skills. The results. The confidence. But they don’t see the version of me who once walked into his first interview with little more than hope. No impressive experience. No fancy job title. No long list of achievements. Just a willingness to learn. And someone looked at that and said: “Let’s give him a chance.” That opportunity changed more than my career. It changed how I look at people. Because sometimes, a person doesn't need another rejection. They need one person willing to believe in their potential. My first employer didn't just give me a job. They gave me: → My first opportunity → My first professional identity → My first real lesson in responsibility → And most importantly, the confidence to believe I could become more. Years later, I realise something: The people who give you your first opportunity often become a part of every opportunity that comes after it. So, to the person who hired me when my CV wasn't impressive… Thank you. ❤️ You may have thought you were simply filling a position. But for me, you were opening a door. And I will never forget who opened the first one. If someone gave you your first break, tag them below. They deserve to know that you remember. ❤️
He wasn't hired for his skills. He was hired for his attitude. Two years later, he's editing videos full-time. Most people wait for the "perfect opportunity." Some create it after office hours. This story is a reminder that careers aren't always built by job titles—they're built by curiosity, consistency, and the willingness to learn. A person who started by cleaning the office and serving snacks didn't let his role define his future. Instead, he spent evenings learning laptop skills, mastering video editing, and exploring AI tools. Fast forward two years, and he's now a full-time video editor. The biggest career breakthroughs often happen when no one is watching. Your current job may pay your bills. Your learning after work can change your life. The question isn't: "What am I hired to do?" It's: "What am I preparing myself to become?" Invest in skills. Stay curious. Keep showing up. You never know which late-night learning session will rewrite your career story. What's one skill you're learning today that your future self will thank you for? 👇
