I started with nothing but a cap and a dream in Bauchi LGA. In 2019, I went to a village 15km from Bauchi town. No school. No clinic. No clean water. A 12-year-old boy asked me: "Alhaji, will I ever go to school like children in the city?" That question changed my life. I didn't have money. I didn't have an NGO. I had only one thing: the trust of my people. So I started small: → Gathered 20 youth under a tree → Started evening classes with one blackboard → Used my own farm income to buy books Today? 3 of those boys are in Bauchi State University. One wants to be a teacher for his village. *3 LESSONS I LEARNED FROM BAUCHI LGA:* 1. Leadership is not about title. It's about showing up when no one else will. 2. Small help is bigger than big promise. 3. Our youth don't need pity. They need opportunity. My name is Alh. Tanko Balarabe. I am not a politician.
