  • Some employers fire reservists the moment they're legally able to. Others pay them out of pocket even after Bituach Leumi stops. Ariel Blum is the second kind. Ariel is a fintech entrepreneur with years at companies like American Express and Melio, and he's made supporting reservists part of how he builds. Hiring them, paying them through their service, making the transition back as easy as he can, and even raising money for mental health retreats. He's the kind of employer who truly takes care of his people. So let's take care of him, and spread the word to every SMB in America. Miluim in Business #1 Ariel's company, Receive, solves a real problem that a lot of SMB owners know well. Money comes in, but with traditional payment systems, it can take a week or two to actually arrive. Meanwhile, those month's expenses are already due. Receive gives businesses access to their revenue the moment a transaction happens. There's no loan. No interest. No credit checks. It's their money so they just get it when they earn it. And if you're a point-of-sale provider, you can easily embed Receive for your merchants and earn a spread on it. Ariel is one of the biggest mensches I know, and he makes real sacrifices to be that kind of employer. So if you know of an SMB owner frustrated with waiting for their own money, or someone at a POS company who should know about Receive, send them to Ariel. They won't regret it. PS - if you know ANY business owner taking care of reservists / ANY reservist building a business tag them or send them my way. Let's take care of our people. #MiluimInBusiness #Firgun #Reservists #Israel #StartupNation

  • The developer was called up to miluim, and the project he'd been brought on for had finished. So the client stopped paying but the business owner continued to pay him out of pocket. He wasn't willing to let the guy get hurt just for being a reservist and self employed. That's Felix Razykov, founder of Innovateam. Miluim in Business #2 Innovateam is a dev team of IDF Intelligence Corps alumni who take on the work funded startups don't have the bandwidth for: running projects end to end, clearing backlog, CTO-level help without another headcount. They've built software for startups that went on to be acquired by Palo Alto Networks (Talon) and Okta (Axiom). And I've worked with them twice. As a team of reservists, they've given hundreds of days of service themselves since the war began. Every one of those days had a cost. That's the part people don't see about being a reservist business owner. It isn't the service itself. It's that the moment you're called up your business stops, and when you come home months later, the army doesn't hand you back the clients you couldn't help. You start from zero, exhausted, while everyone else kept moving. And even from there, Felix kept taking care of the reservists working alongside him. So if you've raised money and your dev team is drowning in backlog I couldn't recommend them more. And if you know a business owner who carried their people through miluim let me know. #MiluimInBusiness #Reservists #Israel #StartupNation

  • We got frustrated with chrome extensions giving us the wrong emails so while I was in reserves my partner built our own think of it as the end of static databases it's already showing us it can find 90% of peoples work emails on LinkedIn (thats over 100K so far) uses our catch all email verification tech to determine the email live, in real time that way we never produce an invalid email giving it away for free to try
