NMCN-licensed Registered Nurse | AHA-certified BLS Provider | Committed to Safe, Compassionate Patient Care For me, nursing has never been just about procedures and protocols — it's about showing up for people on some of the hardest days of their lives, and making sure they feel seen, safe, and cared for. That belief guides every shift I work, across orthopedic, medical-surgical, emergency, ICU, and maternal-child health settings. Clinically, I bring real rigor to that care: delivering pre- and post-operative support to high patient volumes, maintaining 100% compliance with infection prevention standards, and achieving zero medication error incidents. But I've learned that competence and compassion aren't separate things — a patient who trusts their nurse heals differently than one who doesn't. So I try to slow down enough to listen, explain, and reassure, even in fast-paced environments. My training has taken me through 1,000+ hours of clinical rotations spanning Medical-Surgical, Emergency, Orthopedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, ENT, Community Health, Renal, and ICU units — each one teaching me something different about how fear, pain, and vulnerability show up, and how a steady, kind presence can make all the difference. I've sat with anxious families, coached first-time mothers, and comforted patients before surgery, and I carry those moments with me as much as any clinical skill. I'm looking for a team where patient dignity and clinical excellence go hand in hand — where care isn't rushed, and where every patient's story matters as much as their chart. Licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) | BLS-Certified (AHA) | Open to opportunities in clinical nursing, orthopedic care, emergency medicine, and related specialties.

Days ago, I had the privilege of volunteering as a Registered Nurse with circle60 during a medical outreach. The outreach was focused on older women, a population that teaches you to be patient while they share their concerns, to speak clearly and be observant to notice subtle cues in their voice and body language. We assessed the vital signs of dozens of older adults and provided them with relevant health education and advice. One lesson stood out for me: A client may not remember the values of the vital signs or the blood glucose that you checked but they'll definitely remember your patience and respect during the exercise. For me, nursing goes beyond clinical competence. It also involves making everyone feel seen, heard, and cared for. I'm a Registered Nurse based in lagos and I'm open to opportunities that involve taking healthcare to the community.
Good morning!!!!! Here's another day to remind you to keep showing up even when there seems to be no motivation to do so. After numerous applications followed by zero feedback or even outright rejection, it may seem like nothing is working. But keep going, you could be just one email, application, or conversation away from the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Don’t stop showing up! #jobs #jobsinlagos #JobSeekers #nursingjobs
In the past week, we had 4 RTA cases in 2 days, and 3 of them were children. As healthcare workers, we see different kinds of cases, but there is something particularly difficult about seeing a child come in after an accident, crying, scared and in pain. While their mothers are often trying their best to stay strong, you can still see the fear on their faces. As a nurse, part of my responsibility in that moment is not just to care for the child, i also have to help calm the mother, explain what is happening in a way she'll understand, and help create an environment where both mother and child can feel a little safer. Then there's this pressure on the healthcare team. Everyone wants the same thing, and that is for that child to recover fully, go home safely and hopefully, put that beautiful smile back on their face. Honestly, it can be emotionally tasking but it also reinforces why prevention matters. Road safety is everyone's responsibility, and we must not wait until a child is lying on a hospital bed before we start talking about it. Let's do more to make the roads less hazardous for kids and help them get home safely.
