I spent seven years in recruitment before changing careers and starting again with Design, Content and AI. It may look like an unusual path, but the common thread has always been people - what catches their attention, how they make decisions and what makes an idea worth sharing. Today, I write about AI without the exaggerated promises. I'm particularly interested in how it is changing creativity, work and the way businesses communicate. I'm still figuring parts of the journey out, but I'd rather build in public than pretend I have everything sorted. If you're figuring out your own relationship with AI and creativity, you're in the right place.

AI literacy is becoming a job requirement. But access to the best AI tools is slowly becoming a privilege. To properly learn AI, you need to experiment. That often means paying for ChatGPT, Claude, design tools, coding agents or courses. One subscription may look affordable, but combine three or four and suddenly learning AI has a monthly entry fee. Here’s the uncomfortable loop: You need AI skills to get better opportunities. But you may need money to access the tools that help you build those skills. People who can afford to experiment every day learn faster. They build projects, understand limitations and become more confident. Everyone else is expected to keep up through restricted free tiers. Yes, there are free resources. YouTube, open-source models and free plans are valuable places to start. But access still shapes how quickly someone can progress. If AI is becoming essential for employment, learning it cannot remain a luxury available only to people who can already afford it. Otherwise, AI won’t close the opportunity gap. It will quietly widen it.
Venture Capital is built on picking winners but I'm starting to think that the winners are often visible before they are investable. Of course no VC is writing a check because the startup made one good video. The product, team, and numbers still matter but content creates familiarity before the first meeting even happens. A founder posts consistently, a launch video travels, and people start discussing the product. Customers show up and then the investor hears the company's name from three different places and suddenly it feels like momentum. Cluely understood this very well. Its viral launch video came before a $15 million round. By the time the funding was announced, the company was already impossible to ignore. I notice the same instinct in companies like Lovable and Higgsfield AI and their content does more than explain what they build. It makes the company feel relevant. While it is still being built, that presence becomes a signal to investors and founders that the founders understand distribution can attract attention and know how to make people care. I don't think content can turn a weak company into a great investment but it can make sure a great company gets noticed early enough to become one. -Written with Wispr Flow
We’ve all had that moment with ChatGPT or Claude: You ask one thing. It confidently answers something else. Usually, it’s just annoying. But it becomes risky when the model fills missing context with a report or source; it invented itself! It isn’t deliberately lying. These models predict what a convincing answer should sound like. When information is missing, they may guess instead of saying, “I don’t know.” I wrote a simple breakdown of why hallucinations happen and how to catch them before they reach your work: Read it here → https://lnkd.in/gSsVFT8D Also Before your next important prompt, try this: Restate my request, list your assumptions, and flag anything you cannot verify before answering. Save this prompt. The next time ChatGPT or Claude gets something wrong, don’t just say, try again. Give it the whole context
