Data Analyst | Tech & Career Creator | Helping the next generation learn, grow & take action.
Data only matters when it changes decisions. That’s where I come in. Hi, I’m Gitanjali..... A Data Analyst working in global data environments, turning complex datasets into actionable insights through analytics, automation, and modern data workflows I work with SQL, Excel, Python, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data factory, PySpark, Power Apps, and Power Automate & clean messy data, build meaningful dashboards, automate workflows, and turn raw numbers into insights that teams can actually use. What differentiates my work is my problem-first mindset : I start with the business question, align the data to it, and deliver outcomes that are clear, reliable, and actionable. Now, it’s my turn to give back to the data community with everything I’ve learned so far in the data field. Through content, conversations, and one-to-one interactions, I enjoy helping aspiring data professionals understand SQL, Power BI, Python, analytics thinking, and real-world interview guidance, resume building and sharing real industry experiences. My focus is simple: make data easier to learn, easier to apply, and more relevant to real careers and business problems. 🤝 Open to collaborations ! 📩 Let’s connect and create something impactful together ! Note: The thoughts and views shared here are personal and independent, and do not represent those of any organization.

A ₹25 LPA Data Analyst role doesn't require 25 different skills, but it does require a few skills you can't fake. SQL → strong Excel → strong Power BI/Tableau→ strong Python → practical Statistics → clear fundamentals Business understanding → underrated but non-negotiable Communication → non-negotiable And there's one more thing. You need to be able to explain your own work. That's where many candidates struggle. They prepared the tools, They didn't prepare their thinking. To help you you learn these skills in structuted way, I have built a structured guide. Get the Job Ready Data Analyst Blueprint here:https://lnkd.in/g-pa5Yy4 Save & Repost to help others ❤️
I became a 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁 at 𝟮𝟭. But the journey wasn't as smooth as it looks in one sentence. There were interviews I couldn't clear, mistakes I didn't understand, and plenty of moments when I questioned myself. One thing I wish I had focused on earlier: Learning skills is not enough. You need to learn how to use them. If you're preparing for a Data Analyst role, focus on: → Practice SQL with real business problems → Build 2–3 projects and know every detail → Learn to explain insights, not just dashboards → Understand business metrics and KPIs → Practice mock interviews out loud → Keep your resume focused on measurable impact There's a lot of resources over internet, finding best & sticking with it is quite difficult, that's the reason, to help you learn all the required skills, I have built a structured learning guide. Yesterday, a follower messaged me after his Data Analyst interview at Deloitte His first message was: "Di, I prepared SQL... but they barely asked SQL." I asked him what they asked instead. Here are 7 questions which he shared: 1️⃣ If revenue drops by 20%, where would you start your analysis? 2️⃣ Which 3 KPIs would you track for the company and why? 3️⃣ A dashboard and Excel show different numbers. What would you do? 4️⃣ Tell me about a project where your analysis created business impact. 5️⃣ If customer churn suddenly increased, how would you investigate it? 6️⃣ How would you explain a complex dashboard to a non-technical stakeholder? 7️⃣ If I remove SQL and Power BI from your resume, why should I still hire you? Read them again. These aren't technical questions, They're business questions. And that's exactly where many candidates struggle. They spend months learning tools... But very little time learning how to think like a Data Analyst. To help aspiring data analysts solve this gap & learn these skills in a structured way, I built the structured guide..
