Putting the AI in Supply Chain | Fractional Growth Leader
I help B2B and supply-chain technology companies turn strong products into go-to-market systems that create demand, win deals, and hold up after the founder-led sales motion ends. My work sits at the intersection of go-to-market strategy, enterprise sales, revenue operations, AI, and supply chain. I work with leaders navigating a hard transition: taking a technically credible product into a market full of vague AI claims, long buying cycles, fragmented stakeholders, and buyers who have seen every “transformation” pitch before. The work is practical: • Positioning AI and supply-chain technology around operational decisions, not generic innovation • Building enterprise GTM strategy, sales process, pipeline systems, and operating cadence • Translating complex products into narratives buyers, operators, and executives can act on • Tightening ICPs, messaging, outbound, enablement, and revenue operations • Helping leadership teams build repeatable growth systems instead of depending on heroics I have built sales development and sales operations teams across AMER and EMEA, including the systems behind the visible work: hiring, onboarding, compensation, enablement, forecasting, reporting, and performance management. I also write about the move from systems of record to systems of decision. Because a dashboard can tell you a supplier is late. It cannot decide how to protect customer commitments, rebalance inventory, or coordinate the response. AI should make teams better at those decisions: faster, more contextual, and under clear human guardrails. If you’re building or selling AI-enabled software for complex operations—and need a GTM motion that matches the ambition of the product—let’s talk.

I'm pleased to announce that after one month in business, my company is more profitable than Anthropic Also, this is an announcement that I launched my own company
SAP said there's 4,200 units in stock. But the warehouse team says they haven't seen it in weeks. They're both right. The ERP is counting what was received. The warehouse is counting what's actually pickable. Somewhere between those two numbers is a gap the planning model is treating as real inventory. Phantom stock. It's one of the most common and least discussed failure modes in enterprise supply chain. This is how it happens: A shipment is received and logged. But it's in quarantine pending quality check. Or it's in a staging area that isn't location-mapped. Or it was physically damaged and the write-down hasn't been processed yet. SAP has it. The floor doesn't. Now the demand plan is making decisions based on 4,200 units of capacity that don't exist. Two things have to be true for this to stop happening: 1) The data layer has to know the difference between received and available in real time. And 2) The planning system has to stop treating inventory records as fact and start treating them as signals that need validation. A record is not a unit. A location is not a confirmation. A timestamp is not a proof. How much of your available inventory is actually available and ready to ship?
Next year's hire will suck at SAP. And when you ask them for a pivot table, that Gen Z stare will bore a hole through your heart. But they will know Python, they’ll know how to prompt a planning model, and they’ll likely never touch a system that doesn’t have an agent attached to it. A 40-person 3PL in Monterrey rebuilt its entire dispatch process this year around two hires straight out of an analytics bootcamp, zero logistics background. Their on-time rate went from 81% to 94% in one quarter. They didn’t inherit the old workflow and automate it. They never learned the old workflow at all. Every supply chain leader I talk to is hiring for the org chart they have. That org chart is about to matter a lot less than who can actually build with the tools already sitting on their desk. Are you hiring people to run your current systems, or people who could build a better one from scratch?
