Most sales content online is either: Corporate Fluff Hustle Culture Advice from people who haven't carried a quota in years I'm not interested in any of that. I'm an AE at a fast growing software company. I'm cold calling, getting hung up on, and figuring out what actually works. Before tech sales, I was a high school teacher. That background probably explains why I care more about how people learn and grow that I do about pretending sales is easy. Here's what I spend most of my time thinking about: Why some reps get better every month while others stall. What actually works in cold outreach today. The psychology behind great prospecting. The messy reality of building a career in sales. No guru stuff. No fake screenshots. No "10x pipeline in 7 days" nonsense. Just honest observations from inside the job. If you're an SDR, AE, or sales leader trying to get a little better at the craft, you'll probably enjoy what I share. Posts about Centralize are part of a paid partnership.

As of last Friday, I'm officially not working anywhere. I was hesitant to post this, but there are so many people looking for work, I figured if I post about my journey to the next company, it might spark some ideas. First thing I did was call my inner circle and let them know. Next I picked up a fractional cold calling gig from a friend of a friend (networking matters, start posting) I paid $20 for Claude Pro, connected it to my gmail, and started getting as many applications out as I could. In the background Claude was reading my emails, and building a mini CRM in Sheets for all of the applications, their statuses, and key stakeholders that needed to be reached out to. Landed a few first round interviews, and I'm hunting for many more. **Side note, if you're a founder of a start up looking to boost Q4 lead volume, I have the tools and the chops to help with that, fractionally, so let's chat.** Plenty people have asked me if I want to go back into SDR leadership, or continue as an AE. The only answer I have to that question is that I don't have the luxury of answering that question. I get it. Hiring managers want to know what you want to do, because they want to know you'll stay there doing it if they hire you. But I need health insurance and money, so if being solid at both and open to either disqualifies me for one of them, that's okay. I know this... I've never been in this position in my life, and whoever brings me on will get the hungriest SOB on the planet who will do everything in his power not to be back here again. If you know of anything open, let me know, and if not, I'll definitely take a repost or a "cfr" More updates to come soon!
Adam Robinson was a real one. Rest in peace. the world lost a great man and a great family. Praying for everyone involved.
This is a chance to work for one of the greatest SDR managers on the planet. If you're an SDR in SLC, hit me up and I'll connect you.
