Building outbound systems for lean GTM teams | Learning in public
I help SaaS companies grow predictable pipeline and revenue through strategic demand generation, marketing automation, and full-funnel campaign execution. From building scalable lead engines to optimizing lifecycle journeys, I focus on turning marketing from a cost center into a revenue driver. My experience spans across inbound and outbound motion, campaign orchestration, lead nurturing, and aligning closely with sales to ensure every marketing dollar delivers measurable impact. I’m passionate about creating data-driven, customer-centric programs that not only attract attention but convert it into action. Whether it's leveraging tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or marketing automation platforms to streamline ops, or experimenting with new channels for demand capture. I enjoy solving the puzzle of what drives buying behavior in SaaS. Let’s talk if you're into pipeline velocity, tight GTM alignment, or just want to geek out over conversion rates! Had a Topmate call last to last weekend with someone who owns outbound for his team He walked me through his daily numbers. 70 calls. 80 emails. 50 connection requests. 10 - 20 LinkedIn InMails. 90 Instagram DMs. Almost 300 touches in a single day. I asked him what the reply rate looked like. He said close to zero. Maybe a handful of replies on a good week, and even fewer meetings booked. We spent the next 30 minutes talking about why. Here's the thing nobody says out loud. Sending 300 touches a day used to feel impressive. Today it is just basic. Everybody is doing outreach. Everybody is on every channel. Your prospect is getting the same "hope you're doing well" opener from five other people the same morning. Volume is not an edge anymore. It is the default. What actually stood out in our call was this. The reps who are getting replies right now are the ones who picked 10 to 20 people, actually looked at what the person or their company is dealing with, and wrote one line that proves it. That one line is doing more work than 300 generic touches ever will. We ended up talking less about tools and tactics and more about this one shift in thinking. Genuinely one of the more useful conversations I have had in a while. So the question worth asking. In a world where everyone is everywhere, is more outreach actually helping you, or is it just adding to the noise your prospect is already ignoring?
Hiring! 35+ meetings booked last month. Just email outbound, a handful of campaigns, nothing fancy. That's what convinced us it's time to scale beyond one channel. Qoruz is looking for a Demand Generation Associate to help us build out campaign execution across channels. This is a 0-2 years role. If you've never run a campaign before but you're the kind of person who reads a bounce rate and wants to know why, that curiosity matters more than the resume line. Based out of HSR Layout, Bangalore. If this is you, apply. If you know someone who fits, tag them below, comment and share for good karma and reach 🙂
Saw Anuj Narang do this and had to try it on myself. Asked AI: "Who is Mahima Gupta in Demand Generation?" Here's what came back, more or less: She doesn't run ABM. Or Growth. Or Marketing. She runs all of it as one function at Qoruz, because splitting it into silos is how leads die in handoffs. She builds outbound systems, not outbound campaigns. The difference shows up six months later, when the person who built it leaves and the thing still works. She teaches this stuff too, GTM and AI-outbound, to folks who are trying to figure out the same things she had to learn the hard way. Kind of unsettling how accurate that is. If you're untangling lead ownership chaos, building outbound that doesn't need you personally to survive, let's talk and learn together
