Your vertical drama isn’t getting the views you expected. Who’s mixing it… and do they actually speak Italian? We’ve seen projects where syllables were cut, takes were joined incorrectly or pitch effects made dramatic performances sound almost cartoon-like and in a market like Italy, where dubbing plays such an important role, that can directly affect whether viewers stay engaged or simply swipe away. That’s why our workflow stays native Italian from recording to final mix: voice actors, dialogue adapters, QC, audio post-production, management and more. If you’re planning your next Italian vertical drama, let’s talk. Email, videocall or phone, whatever is easier for you.
At the beginning, we were simply a group of professionals trying to do our best. Then, almost without noticing, that group became a team. New voice actors joined us. New ways of organizing our work. We made mistakes, found solutions, refined our workflow, learned to trust one another and built processes that now feel second nature but simply didn’t exist 130 dramas ago. It’s funny. When you’re looking ahead, it always feels like there’s still a long road in front of you. Today, our team has surpassed 130 dubbed vertical dramas across platforms including CandyJar, DramaWave, DramaBox, ShortMax and JoyReel. The number itself is just a consequence. What truly makes me proud is everything that happened while that number was growing: the people who became part of this journey, the trust we built one project at a time. If project number 131 teaches us even one new lesson, then we’ll know we’re still moving in the right direction.
JOB OFFER: Looking for a voice. Details below 😉 We’ll take your voice, your face, your likeness. We’ll clone them, reuse them and make them available whenever needed. Sounds uncomfortable when written like that, doesn’t it? This is not theoretical. I’ve personally received offers of up to €10,000 to sell my voice or the voice of someone on my team. We’ve always sold our work, our time and our performances. But now we’re increasingly being asked to sell parts of ourselves and personally, I’m against that. I don’t believe our voice, our face or our identity should simply become assets with a price tag. Maybe we’ve started to forget that not everything about us should be for sale. Little by little, we’re giving more and more of ourselves to large companies: our voices, our faces, our identities, our data and at some point, I think we have to ask where the line is. When are we no longer selling a service, but selling ourselves in pieces? WAKE UP! Would you accept this job offer?
