Building Prompt Journey | Adapting to AI in Marketing and sharing about what I learn
I build AI-powered marketing tools and document what works. If you want to build the same tools for your team, I teach marketing teams how to do the same. No coding background. Just Claude Code, Cowork, and a lot of trial and error. I've built tools for SEO audits, content pipelines, cold outreach, and LinkedIn workflows, all from chat sessions. I write about SEO in the AI era, Reddit marketing, and the tools I'm shipping. If you're a marketing manager figuring out how AI fits into your stack, we're solving the same problems. Follow for the builds. DM to talk everything AI and marketing.

2 weeks ago I saw a robot for the first time in my life. I wanted to see it in action, but there was a power issue and they could not show me. I am not complaining, I am just reflecting on the realities of building something new. The same happens to us while building Prompt Journey. I can think of the countless times when the software « broke down » while I was demoing. I had dozens of demos with potential clients and potential investors. Yet, none of them left the call unimpressed. ( some actually asked for 2-3 follow up calls to delve deeper) While the software was still being improved, the idea was unique and innovative. So to all founders out there, do not get discouraged if something does not go right. Keep building and improving.
To personalize or not to personalize The dilemma of modern cold outreach is at its highest right now. This is not a topic I speak about usually, but I am working on it, almost daily. If you are running a cold outreach campaign ( regardless of the platform) you for sure have wondered at some point if you can personalize your messaging to the lead at scale. And if it is really worth it… Well, in one of my recent campaigns with a client, we had the answer. Spoiler the answer is yes. The nuance is, you should know your ICP. Before extracting a single lead, we wrote down three things: 1- who they are 2- where they get info from 3- what case studies you have they can relate with Then of course, go and extract the data for those exact points. And you know what, doing just that, put us at a reply rate of 11.9% for an industry where the reply rate is considered good if it reaches 5%. P.S. personalizing the greeting is not personallization😅 P.P.S. Real screenshot of our campaign on lemlist
You want to see what exact prompts your audience types to find you? No brainer. Follow these exact steps: 1. Go to Google Search Console 2. Filter for queries 3. Chose custom (regex) and then match regex 4. Use this formula to look for queries containing 10 words+: ^(\S+\s+){9}\S+ 5. Extract the report 6. Give it to the LLM of you choice and cluster by topic and page 7. You have a map of what prompts your audience finds you with, what pages qualify for them on and for what topics to opitimize them. Simple and efficient. Did you know about this before?
