Founder. Mentor. Advisor.
I help ambitious people grow businesses, ideas and themselves. I’ve spent nearly two decades of my career doing it myself, so I know growth never follows the neat trajectory we like to pretend it does. I was ASOS’s first social hire, helping build a 17M-strong global community, before founding SEEN Connects and scaling it to a £24m valuation. I've worked with brands like Nike, eBay, Red Bull and LVMH Group, before eventually deciding to quit the business I’d built. Today, I use what I’ve learnt to help others grow: ⚡️ STRATEGIC ADVISORY - I work with founders and leadership teams navigating growth, change and the decisions that come with both. I bring an experienced outside perspective, challenge assumptions that are harder to see from the inside and help teams work out what deserves their attention, what needs to change and where the biggest opportunities lie. 🤝 MENTORING - I mentor ambitious founders and leaders as they build, scale and evolve, giving them somewhere to pressure-test the decisions they can’t always take to their team, board or investors. I challenge their thinking, share what I’ve learnt and help them build the confidence to back themselves. 🎤 SPEAKING - Taking ideas around growth, business and ambition to stages including Google, Cannes Lions, MADFest and SXSW. Signature talks include Quit to GrowTM and The Imagination Gap, alongside talks around leadership, success and motherhood. 📈 INVESTING - I back ambitious founders and businesses I believe in, bringing my experience, perspective and network alongside capital. 💡 BUILDING - I’m still a founder. I love taking an idea from nothing and working out what it could become, so the perspective I bring to other businesses is backed by the reality of building today, not relying solely on what worked for me in the past. ❌ QUIT TO GROWTM - Building a bigger conversation around something I’ve experienced first-hand: knowing when to quit. What started as a keynote is now growing into a brand that brings the idea into people’s everyday lives and decisions. 🧠 NXT LVL - Founder and a regular contributor, NXT LVL was built for people who are unapologetic about wanting more. I share my perspective on ambition, business and the realities of going after it. I’m also a mum to two badass girls, so I’m all in on what happens when ambition meets a very full life, and being honest about how what we want, how we work and our definitions of success change as we do. One month off and I am back. My fourth year taking the whole of August off and I'm so aware of what a massive f*cking privilege that is. A whole month in my favourite role... head of entertainment. A whole month of being mum before anything else. Being away with two kids isn't exactly laying on a sun lounger sipping rose 24/7... it looks like touring soft play joints, weird child-shaped tan after they sleep on me all day, and then the girls having better outfits than me every eve. But I am back and RARING to go. September always gives big New Year's vibes to me... plus extra chaos in this household with a mega YouTube deal coming up, four birthdays in the household (I LOVE bdays), two parties, a wedding anniversary, and most importantly, my big girl starts school. She's so ready. Me? Overwhelmed and overstimulated. But here for all of it. Only possible because I designed a career that lets me spend time where it matters most. Onwards to the September madness.
Quit apologising for motherhood. I've spent the last four years saying things like… "Sorry, I can't make that evening." "Sorry, I can't sort childcare." "Sorry, I need to leave for nursery pick-up." So many of us have been taught that motherhood is something we need to apologise for - especially in business, or our careers. That our ambition should come with a disclaimer. Leaving at 5pm doesn't means we care less. Not being at the dinner doesn't mean we don't want to be there. Motherhood hasn't made me less ambitious, it's just made me far more aware of my time. I waste less of it, I make decisions faster, I have clearer boundaries that I'm happy to shout about, I don't feel guilty for not being free one evening. Looking busy and creating impact are not the same thing. Pre-kids, I was all about looking and feeling busy. We need to stop apologising for the life we're building, and how we're building it - often we don't get a choice. The NHS nurse, the mum on the zero hours contract, the list goes on. My children aren't an obstacle to my ambition, they're watching and I’m always aware of that. They're the reason I define ambition differently. It doesn’t need an apology.
August agenda… Time with kids, spicy margs, pool antics. Incredibly lucky to take a whole month off to be full time at my favourite role: Head of entertainment. See you in a month.
