About Selim BEN HADJ YAHIA

Most companies don’t have an AI problem. They have a workflow problem. The numbers live in Excel. The context lives in someone’s inbox. The process lives in someone’s head. And every month, six people spend three days making the systems agree with each other. I’ve spent 17+ years working across business development, operations and technology. Today, I focus on what happens when AI stops being a tool people use and starts becoming a system that actually executes work. I observe this from two sides: THINK : how AI changes the economics of software, organizations, capital and competitive advantage. BUILD : how those ideas become real systems: automated workflows, AI agents, business intelligence and operational infrastructure. My particular interest is the layer between strategy and execution: • What work should no longer require a human? • Which business processes are valuable enough to automate? • What happens when software doesn’t just store information, but acts on it? • How does AI change the operating model of investment and operating companies? • Where does the human remain the bottleneck and where should they disappear? I’m especially interested in private markets, finance, business operations and the thousands of processes still held together by spreadsheets, inboxes and institutional memory. I write about these questions here. And then I build the answers. If you’re thinking about what AI should actually DO inside a business, we’re probably going to have an interesting conversation.

  • Guys, this is huge ! SAP invested in n8n at a $5.2bn valuation. And n8n will be embedded natively inside SAP's Joule Studio. When I started working on n8n back in 2021, I always thought it was one of the coolest app that ever existed. If you don't yet use it to automate your workflows, we should talk.

  • Commodity traders do not wait for weekly government reports. By the time official inventory data drops, the smart money has already made its move. So, how do traders front-run the market? Alternative Data. Specifically, shadows from space. Here is the simple, brilliant logic behind it: - Most crude oil tanks have "floating roofs" that sit directly on top of the oil. - When oil is pumped out, the roof goes down. - As the roof drops, the walls of the tank cast a longer shadow on the inside. Instead of waiting for yesterday's news, funds use high-res satellites and AI to scan thousands of these tanks worldwide in real-time. 📉 Longer shadow = The tank is emptying. 📈 Shorter shadow = The tank is filling up. By measuring these shadows globally, they know the world's actual oil supply days before the rest of the market. Source: Deepak Shah

Anthropic's enterprise-grade AI capabilities + PwC's depth in transformation, risk, and operational change = major impact for our clients. Together, we will be engineering that, in production, at enterprise scale. ⠀ More here: https://lnkd.in/exy24mWP ⠀ #AI #AgenticAI #Anthropic #PwC
