There's a moment that happens when the right words find the right person at the right time. That's where I live. I'm Shilpa Nelson, though many know me as Annabellez, and I'm obsessed with that exact intersection where a story stops being information and becomes feeling. Where words transform into recognition. Where someone reads something you've written and thinks, Yes. That's me. That's us. I didn't start here by accident. My background in English literature and communication wasn't just about studying how stories work; it was about understanding why we need them. Why we crave that human connection hidden in language. Why authenticity moves mountains when nothing else can. So now I do this: I help people and brands excavate their real voice. Not the polished version. Not the version they think they should have. The version that's been there all along, waiting to be articulated. As a writer, ghostwriter, and content strategist, I build narratives that feel real whether that's a LinkedIn story that stops the scroll, a personal brand that actually reflects who someone is, or deeply introspective pieces that make readers feel less alone. The work isn't about being clever with words. It's about being honest with them. Because I believe something fundamental: the right story doesn't just get read. It gets felt. It gets remembered. It changes something. Let’s write your next chapter together. Drop me a message: [email removed] Hauntingly yours, Shilpa Aka Annabellez

There was a time that I am scared to make mistakes. I had all those thoughts inside me, brewing like - "what will people think of me" "If something goes wrong how am I supposed to fix it" "How do I know that I am not making a mistake" And eventually I never begin Because of the scare of being judged for making a mistake. But now It can be age Or the way I see the world And my career growth Nothing stops me I make the mistake. I fix it. I learn from it. I move on. That is it. That is the whole process. No one is watching as closely as I once thought. And even if they are, their opinion was never going to pay my bills or build my future. So I begin. Even when I am not sure. Even when it is messy. Because it will be messy till you start P.S Are you still waiting for a perfect moment? Pre-order link in the comments ❤️❤️❤️
One among the 26 ECHO Award nominees was never on my bucket list. This is proof that you don’t have to cage your dreams. I am tagged as opinionated, dreamer, weird, and crazy, and trust me, the list goes on. Being a girl, I was told that I should not dream big and I should learn how to be a good wife, good mother. But instead of just sticking to that role. I decided to be a good dreamer. A dreamer who is passionate A dreamer who is consistent A dreamer who is a learner A dreamer who kept on pushing limits And here I am today. As a wife, as a mother, as a student and as a girl who dreamt and as a girl who brought her dream to life. And I found dreamers. Dreamers who are consistent and passionate. Dreamers who care about the community and also who want to give back to their community. Thank you. De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences My programme manager Yvonne de Haas. My teachers Barry Verbeek Zeynep A. Diederik Brink Han de Looper Paul Schuchhard Raphael Priftis MA (PhD Candidate) Zahariah Kahar And the management team - Marianne van Veldhuisen, Charina, Darisa Quant, Arend Hardorff, Willem van Nieuwkerk, Laurens de Graaf for nominating me for the ECHO, Expertisecentrum Diversiteitsbeleid It is an honour and a great responsibility to represent ICM and my second home (university). Thank you to everyone who trusted me in this process. Planning to learn something new- then switch on your dumb mode. Learning Dutch broke my brain a little. I kept translating word by word from English. It never worked. Dutch has its own logic. I had to let go of mine. So I am telling you what I wish someone told me on day one. Do not translate word by word. Dedicate at least an hour a day. Learning is a process, not a test you pass once. Do not compare your English to your Dutch. They are not the same language and they were never going to move at the same speed. Commit instead of complaining. I complained a lot in year one. It didn't teach me a single verb. Choice is yours. It’s either excuses, complaining or committing and consistency.
