  • A US drone company just signed deals with both India and Pakistan — ten weeks apart, and disclosed very differently. On 30 June, Paras Defence and Space Technologies filed a disclosure with Indian stock exchanges: Powerus, a Florida-based drone maker, had given it exclusive rights to manufacture its Guardian-1 counter-drone interceptor in India. Eleven weeks later, a Powerus delegation was in Rawalpindi, meeting Pakistan's Field Marshal Asim Munir. They walked out with an MoU and a confidential order from Pakistan's Ministry of Defence — one the Pakistan Army's own statement never mentioned. Here's what makes it more than a corporate footnote: Powerus is merging with a Nasdaq-listed company in which Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump hold a stake through an investment vehicle called American Ventures. Both the Trump camp and the White House say there's no conflict of interest. We went through the SEC filings, the Reuters and Al Jazeera reporting, and what it means for Paras Defence's already-stretched valuation. Two deals. Two very different levels of disclosure. One vendor sitting inside both militaries' counter-drone planning. Full breakdown — link in comments. 👇

  • In one week this September, Pakistan fought on three fronts at once — and didn't get to choose which one mattered most. Its air force struck ten sites inside Afghanistan after a mosque bombing in Kohat killed 31. The Baloch Liberation Army claimed 25 operations in ten days, in a province where the insurgency has now spread beyond its traditional heartland into Pashtun-majority districts once considered quiet. And in Karachi, an IMF mission opened the fourth review of a $7 billion bailout — with an 853 billion-rupee accounting gap on the table and a fuel bill inflated by a war that isn't even Pakistan's own. These aren't three separate stories. They're one crisis, drawing on the same scarce foreign exchange and the same finite political bandwidth. Counter-insurgency in a province the size of France doesn't come cheap. Neither does a border on permanent alert. The IMF board is, in effect, deciding how much of both Pakistan can still afford. We break down all three fronts — and what would tip this from a difficult September into something structurally worse. #Pakistan

  • A Blueprint for India @ 100: Igniting the Potential of Our Demography 🇮🇳 Recently had the absolute privilege of reading the visionary manuscript "Billion Unlimited Minds – India @ 100" by Colonel Prashant Jha (Retd.).  What an inspiring, candid, and deeply analytical work! 👏 It bridges strategic foresight with ground realities, demonstrating how India can transform its vast demographic dividend into a sustainable, $30–50 Trillion global powerhouse by 2047.  Colonel Jha doesn't just present optimistic dreams; he addresses our deep-rooted systemic bottlenecks—from institutional lethargy to grassroots governance deficits—and outlines actionable solutions with the precision of a military leader and the empathy of a nation-builder. 📌 Key Highlights & Strategic Takeaways from the Book: 1. Governance & Decentralization (Bottom-Up Model): 2. Education & Skilling 2.0: 3. Outcome-Driven Healthcare: 4. Self-Reliance in Deep-Tech & Manufacturing: 5. Circular & Climate-Resilient Bharat: A heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to Colonel Prashant Jha for sharing this thought-provoking masterpiece. Your compulsive optimism and unrelenting passion for nation-building are truly infectious! 🙌 Looking forward to seeing these ideas shape active policy and ground transformations. #IndiaAt100 #ViksitBharat #BillionUnlimitedMinds #PublicPolicy #Governance #DeepTech #Sustainability #MakeInIndia #Leadership #NationalDevelopment #DefenseAndStrategy
