your inside look at B2B influencer marketing | Account Manager @ Creatorbuzz 🐝 | LinkedIn Next Gen Creator
partnerships, collabs, + speaking opps → 💌 [email removed] I sit on both sides of the B2B creator economy, managing influencer campaigns at Creatorbuzz 🐝 while also creating my own content about it. so what I share here comes from ACTUALLY being in the room, not just watching from outside it. here's what you'll find if you stick around: ↳ tech/AI and creator economy conferences + event coverage (send me and I'll film it) ↳ behind the scenes of brand and creator partnerships (how the deals actually happen) ↳ tools and platform breakdowns + updates (Canva, LinkedIn, etc) ↳ inside scoop from LinkedIn's own Next Gen Voices Creator Program ☁️ a little about me: spin instructor, dachshund mom to Baguette, and still very much figuring out my early career in public instead of waiting until I have it all together. welcome, glad you're here 🫶🏻 ★ featured in Business Insider + LinkedIn News

how I just hit 6k LinkedIn followers (while working a full time job) ! 🥳 if you want to grow fast and still build a tight, engaged community, here's exactly what took my follower growth up 6,758% this year job updates and conference recaps? that's OLD LinkedIn. for a long time I thought that's all you could post about (and fair enough!). but once I broke the ice and started sharing more, I found a whole other side of this platform. → welcome to the ☁️ NEW LinkedIn ☁️… …and here's how to grow on it: 1. know your content pillars ↳ pick 2-3 topics you want to be known for (something I learned from the linkedin team themselves). mine are B2B influencer marketing, being early in my career, and putting myself out there. the test: could you make content about it for a year? 2. make it useful/valuable, otherwise what’s the point of sharing ↳ examples: actionable tips, step by steps, how to use a feature in a tool everyone already uses. (proof: my Canva Magic Layers breakdown hit 160k+ impressions and brought in 500+ new followers in just a couple days) 3. you don't need to feel like an expert to post (and you probably never will) ↳ when I started, I shared what I was learning from other people. podcasts I listened to (highly recommend Built in Public by Courtney Johnson 📣 Social Media), advice I picked up. use your notes/insights from these as literal content. 4. and at events, don't stop at "my key takeaways" ↳ you could even skip the panel recap and tell a more personal story. how you got there, who you met, the chaotic thing that happened that day (that wasn’t included in the conference agenda) 5. batch ideas + content when you feel inspired ↳ I keep a running list of post ideas in a physical notebook that I carry with me everywhere now. also for filming/designing, if you feel inspired make 2-3 posts at once and schedule them out. 6. post your face (and I dare you to even hit record) ↳ video posts get 1.4x more engagement than any other format (per the platform's own data). selfies work too - proves you’re not AI slop! 7. use your connection requests - but warning: be smart about it ↳ you get 100-250 a week and they reset every Sunday. BUT only send them to people who fit your pillars, would actually engage with what you post, and you'd genuinely want to chat with. 6K followers later, I still use every single one of these. !! steal them !! -tara 🥂🎀🫧 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ P.S. which one are you trying this week? tell me 1 to 7 below
IS THIS REAL LIFE!??! 🤯 I woke up to an email from LinkedIn (literally what!!!) inviting me into their brand new Next Gen Voices Creator Program and I have been staring at it ever since. AN ACTUAL DREAM. it's an invite only cohort LinkedIn is launching for Gen Z creators - and guys - I’ve been saying this platform is shifting and here’s the PROOF. like whaaat. what it’s all about: ✰ access to a private Gen Z creator community and mentorship from experienced creators ✰ content inspiration, tips, and hands on creator support ✰ access to the LinkedIn team for extra support and growth tips ✰ opportunities for my content to be featured by LinkedIn ✰ a chance to shape LinkedIn for the next generation of creators, including previewing new products ✰ exclusive creator experiences, education, and content days ✰ a pathway into LinkedIn's top creator programs when I first started posting like an actual person instead of the buttoned up "professional LinkedIn voice," I was genuinely hesitant... it’s scary, I get it. because most people still don’t view this platform as a place of fun, creativity, letting loose, sharing your real life. but now LINKEDIN ITSELF is telling us that's exactly what they want more of. insane!! ✨ last december I began posting consistently because I watched it change other people's entire trajectory and thought “okay wait, what if I actually tried??” less than 6 months later - I landed the dreamiest new job 🐝 , went on my first podcast, traveled to events (international soon...! 👀), gotten paid to post, and had speaking opportunities land in my inbox. ALL BECAUSE OF LINKEDIN. and me being genuine and excited about it. it still doesn't feel real how quickly it’s all happened. so if you've been sitting there thinking about posting more, THIS IS YOUR SIGN. it works!! don’t be scared!!! thank you Lucy Quick and the LinkedIn team for noticing all the love and passion I have for this space - I am so beyond grateful and cannot wait to see what the future holds with you all 💙 -tara 🌊🤍
reporting live from the airport - about to start the biggest adventure of my career heading to SF... and London!! 🛫 here's the plan (it's a bit wild): ★ ApolloNext tomorrow all day and meeting the Apollo.io team irl! ★ SF Tech Week Apollo events ↳ Tae Bo in the Park with Billy Blanks (yes, really) x Apollo ↳ a No Phones Party with Cat Goetze x Apollo (we work with them on their creator campaigns so will be so cool to see this come together in real life) ★ finally meeting the Creatorbuzz team - crazy content coming up with Vin Matano 🐝 + Nicolas Castro !! (hint: peek my hoodie) ★ creator friends irl ↳ nails with Kamya Marwah ↳ matcha (of course) with Jasmine Wong ↳ creator dinners ↳ contentmaxxing lolll ★ events I'm excited for ↳ ones hosted by Lovable, Adobe, and LinkedIn (one of them is going to be a wild video, stay tuned) ↳ Women + AI: Making Waves, a dinner cruise on the Bay with Jean Kang ★ then London ↳ Spotlight by Semrush ! ↳ and a little England trip after a year ago I was only dreaming of events like this. now I get to go with a team I love and brands we work with !?!? (what is life) so grateful and will be VLOGGING EVERYTHING. BRINGING YOU ALL ALONG. and if you're in town let me know!!! -tara 🎧✈️🗺️☁️
