  • My new book is out now! This feels really fantastic. Although I talk about AI, agentic AI, and innovation all day, I love printed books (I grew up in my parents bookstore). Before you give AI agents the keys, decide the rules. Artificial intelligence is already at work inside pharmaceutical companies. The real question is no longer whether it works. It is whether you can give it meaningful responsibility without losing control. Rules Before Keys is a practical field guide for senior pharma leaders who must move AI from scattered pilots to governed, scalable workflows. It shows how to classify AI systems by consequence, define what they may and may not do, validate the whole workflow rather than the model alone, and create the evidence trail needed for budgets, audits and inspections. I am Tim Cortinovis, international keynote speaker on agentic AI, and author of "Rules Before Keys. How Pharma Can Give AI Agents a Job Without Losing Control". Visit my keynote on October 6 at CPHI Milan on the brand new AI & tech stage: From AI Tools to AI Colleagues: How Agentic AI Will Transform the Pharmaceutical Enterprise. #cphi #cphi2026

  • The future of sales feels a lot less theoretical after Dreamforce. Salesforce is no longer just trying to be the system of record. It’s making a real case to be the reasoning layer too. The headline is Koa: a reasoning model for sales agents that, by Salesforce’s account, made 3x fewer errors than top frontier models on its internal CRM benchmark. It runs on Nvidia’s open Nemotron 3 Super, was trained entirely on synthetic personas, from irate support callers to reps closing deals, across more than a dozen industries, with zero customer data, and it’s self-hosted so requests never leave Salesforce. AIforce and a ClaudeForce beta shipped alongside it, which makes this feel a lot less like a lab demo and a lot more like a platform shift. That matters because a lot of agentic AI roadmaps still assume a frontier model sits in the middle. But if your CRM vendor becomes your model vendor too, the whole conversation changes. Governance changes. Data residency changes. Procurement changes. And the vendor you thought you were buying software from is suddenly much deeper in your AI stack than most teams expected. Then there’s Siemens deepening its AI partnership with Salesforce and deploying Agentforce to modernise inbound sales development. That’s the kind of signal boards notice. Once companies like Siemens are doing this, agentic SDR work stops sounding like an interesting pilot and starts looking like the next operating standard. The question for revenue leaders is getting sharper: If your CRM vendor is now also your model vendor, do you still know where your pipeline data is thinking? I am Tim Cortinovis = Author of “Agentic Revenue Systems: How Revenue Leaders Build Autonomous Execution Engines for Predictable Growth” + renowned international keynote speaker. I help leaders sell smarter, laugh harder, and out-robot the competition. You can expect 4-5 posts a week.
