Helping Technologies Teams Deliver Faster Using Fit-for-Purpose AI + Quality Systems | Africa Health Technology Ecosystem | BlueCloudX
Health technologies rarely fail because of science. They fail because execution breaks quietly: I work with industry to fix that. My focus is simple: turn complex technology operations into systems — especially across African research environments where alignment, trust, and infrastructure matter most. Across Phase I–IV, work.

Big Pharma doesn’t sell drugs. It manages a very expensive survival tournament. You start with 10,000+ compounds. Most are politely escorted out of the building. A few reach preclinical development. Even fewer enter clinical trials. Then Phase I asks: “Is it safe?” Phase II asks: “Does it actually work?” Phase III arrives with 3,000 patients, 17 countries, 83 sites, six vendors and a protocol amendment nobody remembers approving. The FDA asks for evidence. HTA asks for value. Payers ask for affordability. Physicians ask for confidence. Patients ask the only question that really matters.. Will this help me? And Finance is standing quietly in the corner asking..? How much runway do we have left?😂 That’s the pharmaceutical business model. Science → Evidence → Approval → Access → Adoption → Revenue → Reinvestment. The interesting part is the last arrow. Revenue from today’s successful medicines helps finance tomorrow’s scientific bets. Because behind every blockbuster you can see… There’s a pharmaceutical graveyard you can’t. Failed molecules. Failed endpoints. Failed trials. Failed regulatory strategies. And probably one Excel spreadsheet still calculating something since 2019. Drug development isn’t a straight pipeline. It’s a capital-intensive evidence machine where science, patients, regulation, access and economics all have to survive the same journey. And somewhere inside that machine… a CRA is still waiting for the site to answer Query #47. 😭 Better science starts the journey. Better evidence keeps it alive. Better execution gets medicine to patients.

GLOBAL TRIALS. VERY UN-GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION. 😂 Clinical research looked at the word “global” and said... Excellent idea. Let’s put most of it over there. The patients are global. The diseases are global. The need for new therapies is global. Then the trial map loads... Africa... “Hello?” 👋🏾 Clinical research...Thank you for your interest. We’ll circle back. 😭 And that is where the joke stops being funny. We talk endlessly about diversity in clinical trials, but diversity cannot magically appear at recruitment. You cannot design the trial, select the countries, choose the sites, allocate the budget, lock the strategy... …and then suddenly remember.. Wait. Do we have Africa? My friend, the protocol is already wearing shoes and heading to the airport. 😂 Real trial diversity starts much earlier: Country strategy. Site development. Investigator capacity. Regulatory readiness. Infrastructure. Sponsor and CRO partnerships. Because you cannot keep concentrating the infrastructure and then hold a meeting to investigate why the trials are concentrated. That CAPA is going to need another CAPA. 😭 Africa doesn't just need more trials. It needs more of the ecosystem that makes trials possible — and makes sponsors confident enough to place them there. The patients went global years ago. Clinical trials are still updating their location settings. 🌍😂 Practical knowledge. In your pocket. If you work in clinical research, pharma, biotech or life sciences, Download the Axon Android app and start learning. https://lnkd.in/d6WMasVf Master the science. Understand the system. Run better trials. Better Trials. Better Patients. A Healthier Tomorrow.
