Search is changing. And SEO is evolving with it. My focus is on understanding how people discover information today — across traditional search, AI-powered search, and emerging search experiences. I work at the intersection of: 🔹 SEO — discoverability and organic search 🔹 AEO — answer visibility and information structure 🔹 GEO — visibility across generative search experiences 🔹 AI Search — how AI systems discover, understand, evaluate and surface information What interests me most isn't another acronym. It's the shift from: Ranking for a query → becoming useful across the search journey. My areas of focus include: • Technical SEO & search architecture • Content strategy & information structure • Google Search & AI Search • AEO & GEO • Search intent & query behavior • SEO automation & AI-assisted workflows • Organic search & performance marketing • Search visibility and evolving AI-search signals I regularly explore industry changes, experiments, search trends and practical observations around how people — and machines — discover information. SEO isn't disappearing. Search is expanding. I'm documenting that evolution as it happens. SEO · AEO · GEO · AI Search · Digital Marketing

Claude just changed the conversation around AI-generated content. Anthropic has introduced an invisible, machine-readable watermark in supported Claude-generated text. You won't see it. But detection systems potentially can. And I think marketers should pay attention—not because this means “AI content will be penalized,” but because it points toward a much bigger shift: AI content → AI provenance → AI trust The wrong question is: “Can Google detect AI content?” The better question is: “Is my content valuable enough for search engines and AI systems to understand, trust, and cite?” Because AI has made content production incredibly cheap. Anyone can now create: → 100 blog posts → 1,000 landing pages → 10,000 programmatic pages But producing more content doesn't automatically create more visibility. The competitive advantage is moving toward: 🔹 Original data 🔹 First-hand experience 🔹 Expert insights 🔹 Unique information gain 🔹 Strong entity signals 🔹 Clear sources 🔹 Structured information 🔹 Human editorial judgment This is where I see SEO, AEO and GEO converging. SEO → Get discovered AEO → Be answerable GEO → Be citeable Trust → Be recommendable And now we may have another layer to think about: Provenance → Where did this information come from? I don't believe marketers should try to “hide AI.” Let us use AI to accelerate expertise—not manufacture sameness. Because the future of search won't simply reward the companies creating the most content. It will increasingly reward the information that is: Useful + Original + Accurate + Trustworthy + Easy for machines to understand. AI content isn't the problem. Commodity content is. What do you think—will AI provenance eventually become an important signal in how search and AI systems evaluate content? #SEO #AEO #GEO #AISEO #AISearch #Claude #GenerativeAI #ContentMarketing #DigitalMarketing #SearchEverywhere #SEOStrategy
🚨 Google Ads is changing on September 1. But the biggest change isn't AI Max itself. It's how much control Search marketers are handing to AI. Google is beginning to upgrade eligible Search campaigns automatically: → Campaign-level Broad Match → Automatically Created Assets into AI Max. And the two migrations aren't identical. That matters. Because when Google changes how your campaigns find searches and create messaging… Your old optimization playbook may no longer be enough. The question I'm asking is: Are we still optimizing Google Ads around keywords — or are we starting to optimize around the signals AI uses to make decisions? I dug into Google's latest migration documentation. There are 3 details I think every B2B PPC marketer should know before September. I'm putting them in the comments 👇 What would you audit first before an AI-driven campaign migration? #GoogleAds #AIMax #PPC #B2BMarketing #PaidSearch #DigitalMarketing #GoogleAdsTips
You can rank #1 on Google and still lose the AI search battle. And I think this is one of the biggest mindset shifts SEO teams need to make in 2026. For years, we measured success like this: Rankings → Traffic → Leads But AI search is creating another layer: Did AI discover you? Did it understand you? Did it cite you? Did it recommend you? That doesn't mean traditional SEO is dead. Actually, Google says AI Overviews and AI Mode still rely on its existing search systems. But AI Mode can also break complex questions into multiple related searches and combine information from different sources. (Google Blog) And here's the interesting part: Recent Ahrefs analysis reported that only 38% of AI Overview citations came from pages ranking in Google's traditional top 10. (DesignRush News) So the question changes. Instead of: “How do I rank #1?” I'm increasingly asking: “How many ways can AI discover, understand and validate my brand?” That means your SEO strategy should start thinking beyond one website + one keyword. Think: Website → owned expertise Search → discoverability AI answers → answerability Communities → real-world signals Video → demonstrations Experts → credibility Third-party sources → independent validation That's where I see SEO + AEO + GEO converging. Not three separate strategies. One search visibility ecosystem. And there's another warning for marketers: If everyone starts producing the same AI-optimized content using the same formulas, we may end up with more content but less differentiation. New research published this week is already examining this content-homogenization problem in GEO. (arXiv) So my rule for 2026 is simple: Don't optimize just to be found. Optimize to be: Found → Understood → Trusted → Cited → Recommended. Now I'm curious: If Google ranking #1 is no longer the complete picture, what ONE KPI would you add to your SEO dashboard in 2026? AI citations? Brand mentions? AI visibility? Qualified traffic? Something else? 👇 Drop your answer in the comments. I'll share the KPI I think is most underrated in the next post. #SEO #AISEO #AEO #GEO #AISearch #DigitalMarketing #SearchMarketing #ContentStrategy #SEOStrategy #GenerativeAI
