Stop asking Claude to do your entire cold-email workflow in one prompt. I put together 4 copy/paste prompts, each with one job: → Signal Scout: find the relevant event. → ICP Reviewer: decide whether the company fits. → Email Writer: turn the brief into a first email. → Reply Analyst: work out what the reply actually means. The useful part is the handoff. The source stays with the lead. The email starts from that context, not a blank box. I put the prompts, the business brief and a worked example into one free Notion pack. No Looply account needed. Comment TEAM and I’ll reply with the link.
Before asking AI to write your cold email, give it something worth writing about. A name and job title aren’t much of a brief. Try this sequence: Your offer → the buyer → a relevant event → the fit check → the email. For example: a hiring announcement might matter if the new role owns the problem you solve. The announcement alone isn’t the whole angle. Our Notion blueprint gives you the worksheet and prompts for each step, plus a worked example. Comment SIGNAL and I’ll reply with the doc.
I started posting on X and LinkedIn again after a long pause. I want to see whether we can get some reach back. There’s also plenty happening behind the scenes at Looply. We’re rebuilding the app from Flutter to TSX in Codex. We have bugs to work through. And a customer recently cancelled because the product still felt too early for them. That gives me more to write about than another polished product announcement. The rebuild. The rough edges. What customers tell us. Starting here.
