  • When a freelance opportunity comes my way I look at this list first, please add your name to it if you're truly interested in freelancing on the side or if you're an independent consultant open to opportunity. 🚫 Please don't fill it out if you're not going to respond when I reach out or if I introduce you to a client you're suddenly going to get cold feet. 🚫 Also please don't fabricate information or exaggerate. You're welcome to be confident, but there's a line between confidence and making up experience. If I have an opportunity for you I'm going to pre-vet you and it'll be clear if you've been honest. Just do us both a favor, shoot straight and I'll send opportunities your way when it's an actual fit. ✅ I could use some additional connections who are open to freelance work in these areas so if it's you or you know someone please forward this post along. You need to be the expert, capable of owning these areas, not "I've got a cert and I've dabbled". - Marketing Cloud - Agentforce - Revenue Cloud - CPQ Even if that's not you it doesn't mean there isn't opportunity it just means I'm not at a deficit with those connections so feel free to fill out the form. (Check the comments for the form)

  • Employer's be like... "You don't have the experience we're looking for" "We hired someone with more experience" "You have 3 Certifications but no experience..." Not having enough experience is the biggest obstacle stopping aspiring Salesforce professionals from accomplishing their goal of breaking into a new career. If you're already Admin Certified and you've been applying for roles you have likely experienced this truth. But how do you get experience if no one will give you that first role? I've got the answer right here! The new "Experience Only" program w/ 100+ Hours of Hands-On Experience! - A 6-Week Simulated Real World Experience with a project team - Configure Over 60 Requirements with Your New SF Squad - Guidance to Translate Your Experience for Hiring Managers & Recruiters - Get Additional Experience via the "Build Along" Training Methodology - Become a Consulting Expert with our "Charting The Course" Masterclass - A Private Community of Accountability - Never Feel Alone - Project Managers to Guide Your Journey - Project Team Only Slack Group Ready to learn more? • What if the best way to build a business in the Salesforce ecosystem… was to give something away for free? That’s exactly what Dave Moudy did with Portwood DocGen. He built a free, natively-built Salesforce document generation app after seeing companies spend $40,000+ on solutions to solve the same problem. Then things got interesting: → He open-sourced the project → His first Reddit post generated ~25,000 impressions → GitHub grew to 200+ stars in the first week → He landed his first $1,050 from people who believed in the project → He navigated Salesforce security review and got approved for AgentExchange → The app grew to 1,200+ installs → And today, it generates 10–20 inbound business leads every day The business model? The software is free. The implementation, customization, and consulting work around it is where the revenue comes from. We recently sat down with Dave on the Salesforce for Everyone podcast to break down the entire journey from identifying the problem to building the product, navigating IP concerns, getting through security review, marketing through community, and ultimately turning a free app into a real business. One of my favorite takeaways: - Build traction before you get approved. - Getting listed on AgentExchange didn't create Portwood's momentum. It amplified momentum Dave had already built. If you're a Salesforce admin, consultant, developer, or entrepreneur who has ever thought, "I could probably build something to solve this problem…", this episode is worth a listen.
