Let’s get real: Facing unemployment sucks. Growing up, I became way too familiar with the instability that unemployment brings not just to individuals but to entire households. Turns out, these times of uncertainty were preparing me to help others navigate the same struggles. Being a recruiter isn’t just my dream job. My whole life has led me to this point. Because of this, I’m adamant about taking a human-first approach to everything I do, and it’s why I’ve built this growing community of people who want to escape burnout and have brighter days. Having experienced the distress of a sudden layoff, I know firsthand how the job landscape can feel overwhelming and hopeless. It’s times like these when you need moments to laugh and to feel like you’re not alone. It’s obvious that LinkedIn is teeming with content about recruiting, hiring, and job-seeking, but so much of it comes off as impersonal and void of any fun. I’m here to break up the monotony and bring a jolt of joy to your feed when you need it the most.
