About Cori Lindsey

Senior Content Strategy Lead @ Klaviyo

I'm creating content @ Klaviyo! And absolutely loving it ✨ Born in the Land of the Free, built a career in the Land Down Under—so proud that Sydney is now my forever home! Along the way, I’ve learned that in B2B marketing, the best stories are built with insight, dripping in data, and—above all—human. Right now: I lead B2B content at Klaviyo. I’m shaping narratives, collecting client stories, localising campaigns across AU/NZ/SG, and making sure every piece of content knows exactly what it’s doing and who it’s for. I’ve turned blank slates into high-performing editorial engines: vertical-specific, insight-led, and built for both humans and algorithms. Up next: content is changing fast and I assume roles like mine will evolve beyond recognition. As the landscape shifts, I’m determined to stay ahead of it. Smarter systems. Sharper storytelling. And above all, content that is both strategically sound and editorially brave. Superpowers include: remembering birthdays, policing offensive font typefaces (eg Comic Sans, Curlz MT, Monotype Corsiva, and more), and collecting weird linguistic facts.

  • OK THAT’S A WRAP 🎥 We have 8 new Klaviyo case studies to add to the collection! Five things I did differently this time: 1. Didn’t over prepare. We organised kick off calls with talent to talk through the filming logistics and narrative at a high level. Less script, more conversation. We sent a list of questions in advance of filming day but encouraged not to over-prepare. This made for more natural soundbites. 2. Moved into an observation role. Last time I was lead interviewer. And when you’re the one doing the interviews, you get caught up in the moment trying to hold a good conversation. Which meant I needed excellent interviewers who actually know the nuances of each client and their account. The separation of interviewer and observer meant that I had free brain space to make sure we we captured the high-level story and the “so what.” 3. More time on set. We had talent come on set early to eat and hang out before hair and make up. Then 1.5 hours later, we’d start filming. This meant no one felt rushed, and we had lots of time to chit-chat before cameras started rolling. 4. Encouraged 2 people on camera per story. Having two people on camera is much less intimidating. I saw lots of finishing each other’s sentences, more context, and amazing outputs because of it. 5. Left time in between Singapore and Sydney. The extra 10 days left plenty of time to wrap up one project before moving on to the next batch. What on earth was I thinking trying to rush it last time 😂 Outstanding talent across the globe. THANK YOU: Leah Howatson, Jerry Jia, Andrew Lim, JJ Tan, Tetsuro Miyatake, Yujiro Numata, Will Durrant Alexander Chong, Carlie Campbell, Tanya Wijenathan, Braedi Tink, Angus Cowan, Adam Sharon-Zipser, Megan Barnett, Jamie Zhang. One very talented team: Josh Jeffrey Ashleigh Levett Emily Omerovic Germaine Tay Alkiff A. Yuki Izumida Lisa Tan (陳鑫琪) Ceri Anne Jones, Drou Angelides, Eleanor Walton, Jiaxin Zheng, Caleb Quek

  • A jar of Moccona instant coffee just teleported me 10 years back. ☕ I was bleach blonde (still half true), fighting for my chance at immigrating to Australia (SO not true anymore!!!), and wondering if my marketing skills had any real value in the world. (Does that ever leave?) We were using chunky typewriter fonts on Instagram. Making 3 instant coffees a day in the agency kitchen. Working 12-hour days on the Telstra account for minimum wage. And somehow, those were some of the best days! The real hero in this story is my old manager Vianna Kim, who took a chance on a girl with zero days of media experience. She taught me about fake deadlines, corporate charisma, and how to survive agency life with your soul intact. Lucky enough to still be friends today 🧡 And I'll never forget all of my old colleagues who made those late nights so much fun. 10 years later, I only make instant coffee, like, once a year but it still makes me SMILE every time! Also, Moccona has a new flavour: caramel latte 🧐 Vianna Kim Helen Guard Angeline Hartono Ayesha F. York Robilliard Robert Aoukar Annie Lemaire-Brooks

  • The best content advice I've read all year? Three words: be👏more 👏 weird 👏 Absolutely CONSUMED this book on my flight back to Sydney! I flagged 23 pages (out of 250). Here's what I'm still thinking about: —Storytelling is a practice. Show up daily. Make it consistent. Tie it to a reward. (Mine is matcha. Obviously.) —The weird detail IS the story. We've been so conditioned to make content "clear and accessible" that we've sanded off every interesting edge. Mysterious, unusual, odd — that's what makes people lean in. Safe and polished is forgettable. —Protect your brain. Use AI as an editor/enhancer—not the person doing the thinking. Every time you outsource your ideas to a chatbot, you're offloading cognitive capacity you won't get back. —Deep work > shallow work. Audit your time ruthlessly. Guard your attention like it's the only non-renewable resource you have. Because it is. $43 AUD. Fresh new book smell. 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟 🌟 🌟

Hi, I'm Cori!

I write B2B content for a living. As Senior Content Strategy Lead, APAC at Klaviyo, I build the engine behind it: editorial programs, customer stories, and creator and employee advocacy across AU/NZ/SG. I know what makes B2B audiences stop scrolling, because I test it every day. Now I'm running that playbook on myself. This is my first time building a personal brand, and I'm doing it exactly the way I'd do it for a client → clear pillars, real data, and posts that earn their spot in the feed. Early results: my employee advocacy post took off this month [45,000 impressions / 700+ comments / 30 DMs], and the questions are still rolling in. Partner with me now and you're getting in early, with a strategist who'll treat your post with the same rigour as her own. Who reads me → B2B marketing leads and CMOs at SaaS companies Founders working out content without a team Content pros a few years in who want frameworks and honest takes Mostly AU/NZ, plus a solid US and APAC crowd What I offer → Sponsored posts in my voice (they read like my posts because they ARE my posts) Reshares with my own take on top Carousels, product walk-throughs and event recaps Ongoing partnerships for brands with a story worth telling over a few weeks How I work → I only say yes to products I'd genuinely recommend to my audience. Your brief gives me the facts; I find the angle my readers will stop scrolling for. And every post gets an editor's eye... I spot typos at twenty paces.
