14 months ago I had $0 MRR, $25k in debt then I found out I was pregnant breakdown doesn't even begin to describe what I was going through panic. breakdown. screaming - idek what I was feeling this is my testimony, which I've been too scared to share until now last year, I spent 3 months travelling in a deep grind, completely re-working my brand and funnel I tore everything down, fired all my clients, in the name of building from a blank slate the week I got back home to Bali and ready to implement everything? 3 days late. 2 lines on a test. I didnt plan to have a baby. like, at all. I didn't even think I could - I got told at 22 I was infertile having panic attacks whilst vomming literally 24/7. in my first trimester, I lost so much weight, even though I should have gained it I thought God was playing some sick trick, laughing at me HAHAHAHHA I WAS SO WRONG whoever knew 2 big bold lines would be the exact thing I needed because I had this intense vision about halfway through pregnancy I actually asked for this throwback to those 3 months travelling. I'm in Vientiane, Laos. I pray 'God if you exist, if you're even real and you're out there, I pray you come into my life like a wildfire. Burn anything not meant for me. Come in like a flood and put my business on the path you designed it for' but i completely forgot i said these words, and tbh i dont even know where they came from but they came and guys i cannot explain it, but from that moment it all just... made sense? i felt a calm I've never felt before. a knowing. an assertion so i gave up all control (and yes as a control freak, it was very f*cking hard) overnight, my business was getting enquiry upon enquiry fertility experts, baby products, prenatal supplements, nappy brands erm?? am I living in a dystopian universe? is this a dream?? unless im in a coma and still in that dream, sis that wasn't a dream I gave birth exactly 6 months ago. My business has never been more profitable. I'm making impact every single day, for health + wellness brands around the globe with frickin awesome missions burn it down i said. come in like a flood, and put me on the right path. and quite literally overnight, God did just that when i look back at that time i saw those 2 lines and felt nothing but despair, I smile because that girl has just no idea how blessed her life is about to get To Micah, My biggest joy in life is being your mother. I praise God every day that he created such a special soul and said 'yeah, imma give you to Danielle'. In the bible Micah 7:8 says 'for though I will fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light' You are my light, Micah. Until the day I die. Mama x -------- I don't post about my faith too much. I put my hands up, sometimes I'm scared/shy. But I feel called to share my testimony on a random Friday at 17:31pm. So here it is God saved my life

I woke up at 11am today After sleeping through my 7am alarm AGAIN There’s a lot of ‘marketing aesthetic girlies’ covering my feed right now Colour coded calendars, 5am workouts, makeup every day and a perfect blow out in every pic GIRL THAT COULD NEVER BE ME 😭💀 I’m struggling to get into an exercise routine post-partum (I think the last exercise I did was a month ago??) I’ve been struggling with a routine for years (it’s impossible to have a set wake up time in Bali for me) As you can see, my couch cushions are long overdue a wash The once a month I wear makeup, it’s bb cream and blusher So I may not be aesthetic and ‘made up’ every day But I’m happy! I’ve been working in marketing for nearly 10 years now - from VA -> SMM -> Marketing Manager -> multi-CMO Trust me when I tell you - life as a business owner, especially in marketing, doesn’t look ‘pretty’ The highlight of my week this week has literally been buying a washing machine spontaneously 😂 So just a reminder for anyone comparing themselves against other or envying those that look like they have it all together: 1. Having it ‘together’ is a lie. I can guarantee you those flaunting a picture perfect lifestyle aren’t showing you the real story 2. All we as humans can do is live life with happiness, joy and fulfilment. If you have those, it don’t frickin matter what your life looks like This is by no means hate towards the aesthetic girlies - moreso a reminder that no one’s life looks like a Pinterest board 24/7 ———- Post inspired by Olivia Mae Hanlon yday 🩷

7 days into a new Pinterest client account 41% increase in outbound clicks (and conversions) ayo now I know why u all call me the Pinterest queen 😭 here's what I've done so far: - optimised profile name + bio - created a total of 12 testing boards, including merging pre-existing boards - added 500 character keyword lists to all boards for discoverability - created SEO-driven board covers for all 12 boards - scheduled all content until 3rd week September we're currently pinning 2x/day, looking to increase to 5x/day in the next couple months man, I love being a Pinterest queen
