Nothing else you do in email marketing matters if this one thing fails. Not your subject line. Not your design. Not your offer. This. Deliverability isn't a technical detail buried in your email stack. It's the floor everything else stands on. Think about the chain: You write a great subject line. You design a beautiful email. You craft the perfect offer. None of it matters if the email never reaches the inbox. Here's what actually rides on deliverability: Revenue directly. Every email that lands in spam is money that never had a chance. A damaged sender reputation makes ISPs suspicious of everything you send, including receipts and password resets, if they use the same sending domains and IPs. Wasted resources: With each scheduled email sent, you might need to pay your email service provider a monthly fee based on the number of emails sent or even on how many subscribers you have. Regardless, you are burning money because nothing is working and subscribers aren't getting your emails. Your team's time: When deliverability tanks, everyone scrambles, rewriting subject lines and redesigning templates that were never the actual problem. It's time lost for your team. Customer trust: Even a small percentage hitting spam filters means real customers missing something important, and blaming you for it. Most people only think about deliverability after something breaks. By then you're not preventing a problem. You're recovering from one. And recovery always takes longer than prevention would have. I’ll say it a million times: Brand does not equal inbox. (Gmail doesn't care who you are) Yes, you may work at a household name and believe your legacy has earned you the right to email your customers. But Gmail and Yahoo don’t care how many billions your business makes if you send like a spammer. Instead of thinking only about how to extract revenue from users, consider how you’re adding value to their inbox. > Are you sending to the right people? > Are you cleaning your list? > Are you sending consistent volume? Before you start your holiday sends, here’s how you can re-engage your subscribers without damaging your reputation: https://lnkd.in/ebVdgBbH Check it out! #emaildeliverability #emailmarketing #warming #martech
