The biggest lesson that prepared me for product management wasn’t learned at work. It started the day I packed my life into two suitcases and flew to the United States along with my family during COVID. When people ask what it was like moving here, I usually say it was exciting. The truth? It was ambiguity. Leaving behind a life I had built. Starting over in a new country. Learning new systems. Building new relationships. Rebuilding my career. Finding my place all over again. There wasn’t a roadmap. Only the next decision. Looking back, I realize that’s exactly why I love product management. Every meaningful product starts with uncertainty. You rarely have perfect information. Customers don’t always know what they want. Priorities change. Markets evolve. The roadmap gets rewritten. Your job isn’t to eliminate ambiguity. It’s to create clarity despite it. That realization didn’t come from a textbook. It came from living it. Over the past few years, this country has given me opportunities I once only imagined, not because the path was easy, but because it was possible. Like many immigrants, I had to rebuild, not just my career, but my confidence, my finances, my network, and my sense of home. What kept me going wasn’t just ambition. It was family. One of the greatest lessons America reinforced for me is the power of families building a future together. Every sacrifice feels lighter when everyone is pulling in the same direction. Every milestone belongs to more than one person. Over the last few years, I’ve had the privilege of growing my career in product management, learning from incredible leaders, taking on challenges I never imagined, and meeting people who opened doors simply because they believed in me. I’m grateful for every person who believed in me, every teammate I learned from, and every challenge that forced me to grow into a better leader. Today, as America celebrates Independence Day, I’m reflecting on what this country has given me. Not just opportunity. But the freedom to dream bigger, to reinvent myself, to build a life with purpose, and to create an impact that reaches far beyond my own story. I’ll always be grateful for where I come from. And I’ll always be grateful for the country that gave me the opportunity to become who I’m still working to become. Happy Independence Day.🇺🇸 What’s one moment of uncertainty that ended up changing your life for the better? I’d genuinely love to hear your story. #IndependenceDay #ProductManagement
AI can generate an answer in seconds. But the real question is… did it search the right parts of the web? I connected Keenable.ai to Claude and gave it a familiar PM assignment: “Build a competitive change radar covering the last 90 days of product updates from Asana, Monday.com, and ClickUp. ” But I didn't want another summary of company announcements. I asked it to search where meaningful product change actually lives: Release Notes. Change logs. Help Centers. Product Documentation. Developer Pages. Integration Updates. Claude used Keenable for the web search and page retrieval, then turned what it found into a report of product changes, competitive implications, and emerging roadmap patterns. What caught my attention wasn't simply the speed of the answer. It was the source layer underneath it. The workflow returned 10 source backed updates and surfaced a steady stream of smaller product changes that happened after the headline announcements. It also excluded several major stories after determining that they fell just outside the requested 90 day window, and flagged places where sources disagreed on the exact date rather than silently choosing one. That distinction matters. AI Models are becoming more capable of reasoning, but the quality of their output is still shaped by the information or data they can find, retrieve, and evaluate. That's the problem Keenable is working on. And has arguably solved. Keenable is building search infrastructure for AI agents, helping them retrieve structured, relevant information from across the long tail of the web and not just search experience designed for a person scanning a page of links. At the center of its approach is WebQL, a query layer built for agentic search and retrieval. As an AI Product Manager, I find the underlying shift fascinating. Whenever the user changes, the product eventually has to change too. We redesigned the websites for mobile. We redesigned the software for touch. We redesigned computing for the cloud. Now, we are redesigning parts of the internet for AI agents and a big part of it is how Keenable is revolutionizing search. That means developing better ways to benchmark agentic search, expanding the integrations around agents, and building the infrastructure that connects models to current knowledge, including Keenable’s partnership with Baseten. The next phase of AI won't only be about which model is the most intelligent. It will be about what the model can reliably find and how fast. Are we spending too much time comparing AI models and not enough time evaluating the search infrastructure underneath them? Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g2TgCKE5 #Ad #Keenablepartner #AgenticAI #AIPM
Honored to be part of Citrine alongside such an inspiring group of creators. 🙏 Over the past few years, LinkedIn has opened doors I never imagined.
