About Gabriel Aguiar

Revenue Operations Manager | Go To Marketing Ops | RevOps Manager | Hubspot | Clay | Salesforce | Claude Code

I’m a Revenue Operations Manager who helps fast-growing B2B startups build scalable and predictable go-to-market strategies. Over the last 6 years, I've worked across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, which gives me a full-funnel view of what drives revenue and a full picture view in RevOps. In the past 2 years, I've focused on RevOps. I started as a RevOps Analyst, and now I'm a RevOps Manager at UnderStory, an Inc 500 US company in 2026. At UnderStory, I'm building agents to run our operations. Some examples of agents deployed are: 1. Closed Lost Revival: Run every month inside the closed lost deals, analyze ICP, if the loss is revivable, and look for signals/company updates that can lead us to reengage with the deal. Send a Slack message with the digest plus email and LinkedIn draft suggestions. 2. Churn Risk Agent: Run every week, look at the calls we had with the customer, and classify the account as healthy, ambivalent, or at risk. It was built based on churn learnings from the past year, and was trained to identify patterns. Key achievements: Cut sales cycle from 46h to 21h using the SPICED framework inside HubSpot. Responsible for handling the migration from ZoomInfo to Clay, improving the data enrichment coverage by 23% for contacts, 16% for companies, and reducing costs by 50%, connecting it directly to HubSpot via Webhook. Led a CRM enrichment project using Clay, eliminating duplicates, standardizing data, and enriching contact and company information, with database completeness by 100% and accelerating the sales cycle. Built dashboards and CS metrics that led to +55% upsell from existing customers. Helped reduce costs by 27% across key revenue-related softwares by auditing usage, removing unused features, and optimizing plan structures. Tools: HubSpot | Clay | Salesforce | Claude Code | n8n | ClickUp | Instantly | Heyreach | OutboundSync | MasterInbox | GitHub I’m also part of global RevOps communities like Revops Chat and RevOps Co-op. Let’s connect if you’re building RevOps from scratch, need help aligning GTM teams, or just want to exchange insights!

  • Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to hold an office hours session with Bootprint 🥾 (prev Clay Bootcamp) about Lifecycle Stages inside HubSpot. The students had really good questions. Some of them were: How do I track renewals? Are they tied to lifecycle stages? Which lifecycle stages should we use to measure the success of an outbound campaign? I had a really great time sharing my knowledge about it, and showing how we can use lifecycle stages to track volume, conversion, and velocity metrics across the customer journey. Thanks, Heather Melton 🦜 🥾 and Patricia Chu 🥾 for the invite, and Natalia M. to connect me with the team!

  • Clay raises $115M to be the AI growth engine for every company. We have a lot of distinct definitions for "Go-to-Market Engineer", their own definition is: "We believe that the next wave of companies will be built by teams that think about growth in a systematic way. We call those people GTM engineers. Thousands of them already build revenue systems at some of the fastest-growing companies in the world, and their role is expanding." So they just announced, with their round, a $1m scholarship fund to grow the next wave of GTM Engineers. We still are on the early days of the GTME market!

  • n8n is still one of the most useful tools a RevOps person can learn. The reason? It helps you work around system limitations. Here’s a real-life example: You have a Book a Demo or Contact Us form. The ideal setup is: Form submission → Enrichment → Qualification → Routing → Sales So before the rep even touches the submission, you already know all the data points you need to qualify, disqualify, or route the account to the right rep. If your stack is HubSpot + Clay, you can build this with a HubSpot workflow triggering a webhook to Clay. Clay enriches the data, and then you continue the process inside HubSpot. But what if you don't have Data Hub Pro or Enterprise? That's where n8n becomes interesting. You can use n8n to: → Check HubSpot for new submissions from specific forms → Deduplicate the records → Send the data to a Clay table via webhook → Enrich the contact/company → Trigger whatever comes next And suddenly, a limitation that would otherwise require an expensive HubSpot upgrade has another solution. If you're considering Data Hub Pro only for this use case, you could potentially replace an ~$800/month cost with an n8n subscription of around $20/month. Same goal. Very different cost. And this is why I think the best RevOps people aren't the ones who know how to build workflows. They are the ones who know: 1. How to work around limitations. 2. How to do it cost-effectively. 3. How to build solutions that are sustainable long-term. That's where RevOps gets really interesting.
