five years married today this one's for my wife five years ago i had nothing. no plan, no safety net, just a lot of hope and a woman crazy enough to bet on it with me since then we've bought two homes. brought two kids into this world. gone through chapters that tested us in ways i didn't think we'd survive and somehow, through all of it, we've come out closer every single time she's been there for the wins nobody saw coming and the losses that knocked me sideways. never once made me feel like i was doing it alone i used to think love was the exciting part at the start. five years in, i know better. the real thing is someone choosing you, every day, through the mess and the milestones both i couldn't imagine building any of this with anyone else so thank you. for everything you do, seen and unseen
Ryan Hilliard and the Refersion team put together a great panel last night in charleston the story that stuck with me came from Mimi Striplin . she talked about how her team leans on real, in-person feedback from customers instead of just staring at dashboards. asking people who walk into the store how they found the brand, what they think of the fit, what they'd want to see next. some of their best product decisions came from those conversations, not the data Mike McGee talked about how Mugsy thinks about loyalty differently. instead of discounts, they give cashback toward the next purchase. it keeps people coming back to buy again instead of just cashing out a one time gift card Luke Morse talked about how loyalty used to just mean points for a purchase, pretty transactional. now Comfrt builds loyalty around actually listening. customers asked for their signature hoodie in more colors, so they made it happen. customers reacted to their eye mask hoodie by asking if they could build on it, so the team came back with an inflatable neck pillow hoodie. he said it sounds ridiculous but it took off because people felt heard ryan asked the panel the questions that pulled these stories out of them Ryan Stewart was the one Brittany Shore & i were supposed to help plan this with, but he went above and beyond and made the whole night happen! I think we did a good job brining the vibes! 🤘🏽 great people, great conversations, but most importantly.. honest and thoughtful answers to each question asked. hoping this becomes a regular thing here in charleston #TheTakeover? 👀
