About Joseph Alagi

Not trying to make this sound cliché, I turn media budgets into measurable business outcomes. As a Senior Media Executive at BrandEye Media, I lead a team in end-to-end media planning & buying across TV, radio, print, and OOH for brands in FMCG, finance, alcohol, tourism, and health — negotiating placements, managing vendor SLAs, and reporting performance in language business leaders can act on. A few numbers that tell the story: → Indomie "Golden Magnet Promo" — 2023 Consumer Promo of the Year → Indomie "Show Some Love" — 38.2% year-on-year sales increase → Hypo "Cholera Awareness" campaign — reached 4.2M+ Nigerians across TV & radio → Luno "Crypto Is Calling" — first-ever client on a virgin billboard site on Gbagada Highway → Ibadan City Takeover — every KPI hit, margin exceeded I've also led media through crisis — managing the Indomie brand-safety response when a viral rumour threatened consumer trust, working cross-functionally to protect the brand at speed. Certified in Media Management (Alphabet Media Academy), Google Digital Marketing, and PMI-aligned project management (Coursera). Background in biochemistry gives me a data-first lens on campaign performance. Open to conversations on media strategy, partnerships, or new opportunities in media/project leadership.

  • 2025 Wrap-Up 2025 stretched me in ways I didn’t see coming. It challenged my resilience, tested my capacity, and forced growth, personally and professionally. Looking back now, I’m grateful for every lesson, every tough moment, and every win that came with it. This year sharpened my thinking, strengthened my execution, and reaffirmed why I do what I do. To every brand that trusted us with their objectives and KPIs, thank you for the confidence and partnership. Delivering impact together made the journey worthwhile. To my colleagues, especially my unit, you showed up every single time. Your grit, collaboration, and energy made the pressure lighter and the wins sweeter. And to my media partners, your consistency and support are the unsung backbone of great brand stewardship. Thank you for making execution seamless and results achievable. I’m leaving this here as a marker. A reminder of what 2025 demanded, what it taught me, and what I was able to accomplish through it all. Onward 🚀 Gracias. #media #2025 #wrapup #advertising #brand #grateful #growth

  • H1 2026 is officially in the books, and it has been a busy one on the OOH front. I will be spotlighting two moments from the campaigns i championed with my team. Jameson Ibadan City Takeover — Watching the turnout on the ground day was the kind of validation that makes this job worth it. Every KPI we set going in wasn't just met, it was exceeded, and margins came in ahead of target. Numbers on a plan are one thing; seeing a city actually show up for an event is another. Luno's "Market Prediction" — This one taught me something about the job that goes beyond negotiation and rate cards. We secured a strategic board on Gbagada Highway as the very first client to go up on that site. No prior campaign history to point to, no "this location performs well" data to lean on, just a read on the location's potential and the will to back it. That's the part of media buying that doesn't always show up in a report: sometimes the biggest wins come from being willing to be first. Betting on a virgin board is a different kind of pressure than buying into a proven one, and it's a reminder that this work is as much about conviction as it is about numbers. Grateful for the teams and clients who trusted the process on both of these. More to come in H2. #OOH #MediaBuying #OutOfHome #Nigeria #Advertising
