Helping growth-stage founders own every room with narratives that unlock scale | start here ↓
Hey, I’m Kenneth - The worst kept secret for scaling founders. Pretty much obsessed with building strong narratives that scale businesses. Helping founders navigate the messy middle of growth. Those that are: → Expanding teams, partnerships, to new territories. → Raising Institutional capital (VCs, HNIs, GPs & LPs) → Growing their client/consumer-base as a multiplier. All through narrative building that precedes you. The type of stories investors want to share. Here’s a couple of resources that you can access immediately: 📥 Rank your Narrative here → https://www.scale-story.com/nri 📚 Get access to the Unfair Edge → https://www.scale-story.com/unfairedge 📞 Book a Consultation → www.scale-story.com/clarity Stay Curious, Keep Scaling 🚀

I am shattered...and regret nothing. 🙃 Ideas Fest you were beautiful. This is the part where I share my favourite quote from a talk. Or explain how one session transformed my whole business. But it was much more simple than that. I met people. People I've been speaking to for months. Others I've stalked for years! (Well, that's how it feels when you've religiously watched ALL their content). We talked about their lives, business, how nice it was to not have wifi and just sit in the sun and talk. I can't tag you all and I don't have pictures with everyone but... This tired somebody is glad he spent two days away from his desk. I'll do an actual recap post next week but I am 14% human today and 100% closing my laptop after publishing. BIGGEST shoutouts to Frankie James for such an amazing festival. Also, to the amazing human that is Jack Millard - outside of owing this man many many beers, this man's ability to always have time for people while navigating 100 fires cannot be matched. Aight... Stay curious, Keep SLEEPING 😴 N.B. I don't care what anybody says. There was no food stand better than Sonny's - I'll fight on this hill (after I've rested).
About 6 years ago my business was about to close down. A one hour conversation changed my whole way of thinking. In a previously life I lived out in Spain and ran a video production agency. I was gaining fairly good traction and growing a decent porfolio as the bilingual guy that made buisiness content. This was the golden era of instagram so every post, if well curated, would flyyyyy! Then the pandemic hit & I pretty much lost everything. Client retainers ended abruptly. Couldn’t leave my house to film anything. Creativity was slowly dying along with my hair follicles. I was left waiting for things to blow over. (Hindsight is truly 20:20 😅). After months of no real work I get an email from someone offering free consultation. He’d worked with CocaCola, Unilever, Canon, The British Arts Council and was trying to give back by way of mentorship. That man was, Haydn. He accepted my request and I jumped on the call expecting him to say “give up”. But he didn’t. We spent the whole call exploring all the other unexplored possibilities and how much of my actual skillset I wasn’t leveraging. The global opportunities that I could tap into as I didn’t have a huge team. I left that meeting feeling like i could genuinely take on the world. So naturally, we kept in touch. That was 5 years ago. We’d plan to meet in person as Haydn’s from London but shortly after we connected he moved out to the states to continue being a force of nature. We never did get to meet and he hasn’t been back to the UK as getting a visa is a whole process. Until this week. We met for the first time in person and it was like we’d been hanging out daily. Spent 3 hours solving the world. Laughing about how different life now is. (Small break to stare at a chess board like either of us could actually win). I’ve been fortunate in my life to have great mentors who have been there for the lows and the highs. So this is me appreciating the man, the worldboss and one of the people I’ll probably end up oweing a yacht to in the future 👀 Mr. Haydn Corrodus. P.S. Send the email. Whoever you thought of reaching out to when reading this, do it. Mentors will change your life in more ways than one.
If you’re headed to Idea’s fest this week, you’ll want to read this. (If you’re not, keep scrolling - unless you want to meet some awesome people). Going to any conference or summit and looking at the lineup is overwhelming. Especially trying to pick who to see when you have nothing to go by other than a headshot. So, let’s fix it. 3 amazing humans you need to go and see (and high five). In no particular order: Tash Rebuck - Outside of helping people fall in love with Sales and hosting the only podcast your monday has been missing. Tash is a lover of all things food, board games and is a secret comedian. Tariq Peters - Outside of taking people to the core understanding of why their building a personal brand I’ve not seen work ethic like his for a while. Someone dedicated to putting in the work daily, without the allure of vanity metrics - just seeking to help people. Chris Ross - The brain behind Datumra & VC26: Datumra, Chris is a huge advocate of helping early founders unlock their full potential. However, this is easy for many to say, very few people are as charitable with their time and wallet like Chris. All 3 are really down to earth, easy going people who share the same goal of helping others win. Got a lot of time them all and I think you should too. If you got this far and haven’t followed all 3, we’re gonna have problems! That’s all. Stay Curious, Keep Scaling!
