Building @ Talkio - Guidance AI for Sales | Ex-Spyne | Ex-KPMG | PGDM’25 GLIM
I've watched a founder lose a deal live on a call - not because the product was wrong, but because the answer was. That's the problem I'm building Talkio to solve: live AI sales coaching for founder-led B2B teams selling technical, considered products - construction tech, field service, logistics, industrial ops, climate software. The moment a founder hands off calls to their first AEs is also the moment deals start slipping through cracks nobody's watching. Talkio watches. Before this: GTM at BotSpace, building outbound and pipeline inside the Shopify ecosystem. Before that, Partnerships at Spyne, where I built $200K+ in pipeline in ~3 months. KPMG and a PGDM from Great Lakes before that. Always up for a conversation with founders and sales leaders wrestling with the same problem -- the call that could've gone better.

R.I.P. paying an agency $3-5K/month to build you a lead list. The old model: Pay a retainer. They buy a database. Filter by job title. Export a few thousand contacts. Add a fake personalized first line. Send you a spreadsheet at month end. Half the list is dead. You never know which half. You don't need this anymore. Not because agencies got worse — because the tooling caught up. Recorded myself building my actual target list this morning instead of paying for one: This is real, not a demo. Building this for my own beta right now: → Defined ICP in plain language — company stage, buyer motion, team size, not just industry and job title. → Pulled recent funding announcements in target verticals, last 6 months. → Cross-referenced against a real trigger signal — second sales hire, hiring posts, pipeline-related content. → Output: company, signal, why it fits, an actual angle for outreach. 10 minutes. Would've cost me a retainer and a month of waiting a year ago. Any founder, AE, or SDR can run this exact structure for their own ICP — swap the criteria, same system. Prompt structure's in the comments if you want to build your own. ――――― Here's the part I'm actually spending my time on, though — the list gets you to the call. It doesn't help you once you're on it. That's the gap I'm building Talkio to close — early access open if you're curious COMMENT "BUILD" TO GET THE SYSTEM IN YOUR DMs
Most early stage startups won't like these numbers. Open deals: ___ Divide 100 by that number. That's roughly what one lost deal costs your quarter right now, if you're early stage. For most founders I've talked to this week, that number lands between 15-30%. Now think about how it actually gets said out loud. Pipeline review, one line - "yeah, that one didn't work out." Moving on to the next deal. Nobody says it like they just lost a fifth of the quarter, even though the math just said they did. Most of those losses aren't a bad pitch or a bad rep. They're one moment: --- A sharp question, a pause that goes on half a second too long, an answer that needed to be right and wasn't that nobody catches until the deal's already gone cold a week later. --- That's the exact moment Talkio is built for. It listens live, and the second a question needs a sharp answer, it puts that answer on the AE's screen before they have to guess. Run your number. Then see it live: Talkio | Close more deals with live AI assistance
Your Closures/AE's worst mistake isn't their fault. It's your knowledge base's. A knowledge base is out of date the moment it's finished. It only has answers to questions you already thought to write down. The ones that actually cost you deals are the ones nobody thought to document -- because no one had asked before, or the answer was so automatic it stopped feeling like a "question" at all. You can fix this without any software. A shared doc, 15 minutes every Friday -- your AE lists every question that made them hesitate that week, you give the real answer, it goes back into what they use next time. That alone closes most of the gap. --- Talkio just runs that same loop live, inside the call - flags the moment it happens, not a week later, and the answer's there before the next call that needs it. --- The knowledge base stops being a doc you write once. It becomes something that gets sharper every single call. See it live.... trytalkio
