AI & Infra Engineer. Building AI that survives outside the demo. Founder & CTO. Community leader. Creator.
Most AI initiatives fail quietly. Engineering teams build an impressive prototype, but the moment it touches real company data, progress halts. Token spend is unmonitored, tool permissions run on a master key, and no one trusts the model with production deployment. The demo works. The system does not. I build the deterministic layer that makes artificial intelligence deployable. After 13 years running critical operations in United States enterprise IT environments, including managing HIPAA-scoped change windows for OhioHealth, I approach AI as a strict infrastructure challenge, not a magic trick. At TechTide AI, we rescue stalled initiatives. We replace black-box uncertainty with boring, reliable engineering... deterministic policy engines, human-in-the-loop approval gates, structured OpenTelemetry observability, and custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers tailored precisely to your proprietary stack. The trustworthy part of an AI system is the part with no AI in it. If a system cannot present an immutable database log of its actions, it is not governed, and it does not belong in production. I focus on three specific interventions for engineering leaders... The 48-Hour AI Architecture Audit: A definitive go/no-go diagnostic for stalled workflows. Custom MCP Server Development: Securely connecting Claude to internal APIs with strict JSON schemas and scoped OAuth boundaries. Production Triage & Rollout: Moving AI tools out of the sandbox and integrating them into daily engineering workflows. I hold 9 Anthropic Academy course completions and maintain recognition as a Lovable Champion with over 12k+ verified platform edits. Logs over vibes. Production over theater. If your AI pilot is stuck between the initial demo and Monday morning deployment, let's examine the architecture. Book an audit at TechTideAI.io. Jev is a bet that not every AI interaction needs a chat window. TypeSafe AI just released Jev, its public System One model. Before you go further..... Not built for long-form generation. Built for decisions inside software. Most product workflows don't need an essay. They need a route, a classification, a threshold, a tool choice, a constrained answer with a confidence score and an escalation path when it's wrong. Language models are great at language. Jev's bet is different: operational decisions should be typed, measurable, and easy for software to act on. If you're building with this: start narrow. One decision. One defined fallback. Evidence of where the model is right, wrong, and uncertain. A benchmark is not production proof. The real question isn't "can AI write more." It's "can software make a better next decision." This morning at 8:30 AM Eastern, SHWETA and I are going live on Prompt to Product to talk about what it takes to turn an AI-generated idea into a product people can actually trust.
The first thing I told an AI that makes phone calls? “Don’t call anyone yet.” I opened PineAI, a personal assistant that can make phone calls on your behalf, and asked it to help set up a bill negotiation. Then I gave it my rules. No new contract. No service downgrade. No paid add-ons. Show me the fees and the plan before making a call. Pine laid out a checklist: collect my provider and bill details, research available rates, develop a negotiation strategy, get approval, make the call, and confirm the outcome. I pressed on the boundaries. Pine confirmed that nobody had been contacted and that it would get my approval before calling. That’s where this test stopped: setup and guardrails. The screenshots show that conversation; the savings sequence in the walkthrough illustrates what could come next. For me, the interesting part is being able to define the job and the limits together. A clear task. Limits I control. A result I can verify. Then I asked, “Can you order a pizza?” Pine said it could help, and stop before payment or confirmation. Apparently, my guardrails extend to dinner. Try Pine: https://lnkd.in/gQK66E9C What bill would you have Pine agent negotiate first?
Spent a session digging into GPT-6 Astra with Hina Arora and she turned it into something far more useful than my notes were going to be. The one that surprised me most: Blender model to a working Unreal Engine environment with the spatial structure intact. That handoff is where these things usually fall apart. The shift underneath all six examples is the part worth sitting with. These tools moved from generating answers to producing working outputs, which changes the question from "can AI do this" to "what do I build now that it can." Carousel is worth the scroll. Thanks Hina. 🎉
