I help busy founders & marketers skip the AI trial-and-error — I do the 1,000 hours, you get the shortcuts | Ex-Ecommerce VP, Supergoop! & Chegg | @whitneydoesai
Hey, I'm Whitney. You already know AI matters. The problem isn't skill — it's time. The tools change every single week; what worked in March is dead by June. Keeping up has quietly become a second job you never applied for. That second job is my only job. I test every new model the week it ships — on real business problems, not demos — and throw out the 90% that doesn't survive contact with a real company. What's left is the small pile that actually works. I'm not selling AI. I'm selling the hours. Here's how I got here. I was leading marketing at Chegg when AI took over every meeting. I got curious, then obsessed — started making reels about using AI in business, and one got shared 30,000+ times. Then the guilt hit: I was going viral about how great AI was... while working at a company being disrupted by it. So in a full anxiety spiral, I did something unhinged: I texted the CEO. At 7am. On a Saturday. Not just any CEO — Dan Rosensweig. He took the call, treated me like an equal, and that conversation changed how I thought about risk. Two years later I left my multi-six-figure VP role to do this full-time — two kids at home, stay-at-home husband, no safety net. (Dan and I now grab coffee in Montauk. Full circle.) Today I help founders and marketers build real, no-code AI systems in Claude — and I show all of it: the wins, the fails, and the shortcuts you get to skip straight to. If keeping up with AI has become your second job, let me hand you back the hours. → Follow along here for what actually works → DM me "HOURS" with what your business does — no pitch → Email me directly: [email removed] For brand partnerships & sponsorships: [email removed]

The biggest line in my AI income isn't the content or the design work. It's teaching other people's teams. This surprised me too, so let me tell you exactly what I do, because I'm opening a few client spots this quarter. I spent my career in ecommerce. Sr. Director at Chegg, VP at Supergoop!. A year and half ago I left the VP seat to work in AI full time, because I could already see what it was going to do to the job I was doing. Since then I've been paid to do the work, not talk about it. Six figures of client work — and the biggest slice of it is companies putting me on retainer to make their own people faster. Three things I do: → AI training for your team (monthly retainer) ↳ Not a lunch-and-learn. I sit with your marketers and operators, take the tasks eating their week, and rebuild them as working AI workflows your team owns. Companies keep me on retainer because month two is where it compounds — the first month teaches the tools, the rest rewires the process. → Done-for-you content systems ↳ I build the machine: the pipeline that turns one idea into a month of reels, posts and captions. One client's entire content output runs on a system I built and still maintain. She approves, the system does the rest. → Custom internal tools ↳ The small app your team keeps saying someone should build. Portals, calculators, dashboards, trackers, the thing currently held together by a spreadsheet and one person's memory. Days, not quarters. What connects all three: I don't hand you a strategy deck. I build the working thing, then teach your team to run it without me. Who this is for: founders, marketing leads and ecommerce operators who know AI should be doing more in their business and don't have six months to work out which tools are real. Who it's not for: anyone who wants to "explore AI." I run the 1,000 hours of experiments so you don't have to fund them. I have room for 2 new clients starting this month. If one of these three is a problem you're sitting with right now, tell me which one in the comments — or DM me SCOPE and I'll tell you straight whether AI is the right answer for it, and roughly what it would take. #AI #Ecommerce #Marketing
Most people price an AI tool switch at $20/month. The real cost is the six months you spent teaching the old one your business. Your customers. Your offer. Your voice. The things you'd never say. None of that comes across in an export button — so people either don't switch, or they switch, get worse output for a month, and quietly decide the new tool was overhyped. It wasn't the tool. It was the amnesia. Claude has an import built for exactly this: Settings → Capabilities → Start import. Claude writes the export prompt for you. Paste it into ChatGPT, paste the answer back, add to memory. Three clicks on your side — the only waiting is ChatGPT writing the export. One thing almost everyone misses: on that same screen, turn on both "Search and reference chats" and "Generate memory from chat history" first. Without them, Claude has nowhere to put what you just imported. The import runs and quietly does nothing. Screenshots of every step in the carousel 👆 Comment STACK and I'll send you the Claude Starter Stack — five builds, in the order that compounds.
AI doesn't have bad taste. It has no taste, which is why everything it builds comes out looking like the same template. Five free Claude design skills, picked by the job each one does rather than by what they're called: ui-ux-pro-max, high-end-visual-design, redesign-existing-projects, emil-design-eng, dataviz. Four of them are community skills off the skills.sh registry, one line each to install. Between them they have close to a million installs — 304.7K, 253.8K, 250.1K and 191.2K. The Emil one is published by Emil Kowalski himself. Dataviz already ships inside Claude Code. The numbers on slide 6 — 67 styles, 96 palettes, 57 font pairings — I counted off that skill's own data files before I put them on screen, rather than quoting its description back at you. 67 rows in styles.csv, 96 in colors.csv, 57 in typography.csv. Most people install all five at once and wonder why the output got worse. Five design skills loaded together give Claude five opinions about the same button. The order matters more than the list — building something new is a different skill from fixing something generic, and fixing something generic is different again from a build that looks right and feels dead. I've built 22 sites and apps with Claude this year. The skills didn't make me a designer. They stopped me shipping the default. What's your tell — the fonts, the spacing, or the purple gradient?
