  • India's top IT companies have reported their Q1 results, and one trend stands out: AI is becoming the biggest driver of growth. A quick comparison: -> Deal wins: • Infosys: $3.6B TCV (highest among peers) • HCLTech: $2.41B (record bookings) • Wipro: $1.63B (+13% QoQ) • Tata Consultancy Services: $9.5B order book, including a major AI-led transformation deal -> Growth (Constant Currency): • Infosys: +1.0% QoQ • TCS: +0.4% QoQ • HCLTech: -0.5% QoQ • Wipro: -1.4% QoQ -> Hiring: • TCS added 9,000+ employees and onboarded 14,000 fresh graduates. • Infosys reaffirmed its plan to hire 20,000 freshers in FY27. • Wipro added 888 employees. • HCLTech reduced its workforce during the quarter. -> AI: • TCS' AI business reached a $2.6B annualised run rate. • Infosys generated around $417M from AI services in Q1. • HCLTech continued expanding its AI business while investing in AI infrastructure. • Wipro highlighted growing enterprise AI demand but didn't disclose AI revenue. One interesting difference is strategy. Infosys has chosen not to invest in AI infrastructure and data centres for now, while HCLTech sees AI compute infrastructure as a long-term opportunity. My takeaway: The next phase of competition won't be about traditional IT services alone. It will be about who can win AI transformation deals, scale AI capabilities, hire the right talent, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The AI race among India's IT leaders is just getting started. Which company do you think is best positioned over the next 3–5 years? #AI #Infosys #TCS #HCLTech #Wipro #ArtificialIntelligence #DigitalTransformation #IndianIT #Technology #Business

  • N. Chandrasekaran resigns as Tata Group Sons Chairman. But there’s an important detail. N. Chandrasekaran has decided NOT to seek reappointment as Chairman of Tata Sons after his current term ends on February 20, 2027. He will continue in the role until then. The announcement has already created a strong reaction across Tata Group stocks. → Tata Consultancy Services fell around 5.3% → Tata Motors fell around 3.3% → Tata Steel and Titan Watches India also came under pressure Why does this matter? Chandrasekaran isn't just the Chairman of Tata Sons. Before taking over Tata Sons, he led Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as CEO and MD. He has also been at the centre of Tata Group's transformation across technology, automotive, aviation and other businesses. The bigger question now is: Who will lead Tata Sons after February 2027? And more importantly, what will the next leadership mean for the future direction of the Tata Group? For a group of this scale, leadership changes can have a much bigger impact than just one day's movement in the stock market. The next few months could be very interesting. What do you think about this leadership transition? #TataGroup #TCS #NChandrasekaran #TataSons #StockMarket #Business #Leadership #India #Investing #CorporateGovernance

  • Everyone talks about raising funding. But not enough people talk about what happens after you raise it. Getting an angel investor on board is a huge milestone, but funding isn’t the finish line. It’s just more fuel. You still have to build the product, find customers, figure out distribution, and most importantly, prove that people are willing to pay. I’ve seen founders focus too much on valuation, pitch decks and how much they can raise, while the real question should be: “Can we build something people actually want?” A ₹50 lakh cheque won’t fix a product nobody needs. But the right angel investor can bring much more than money — experience, connections, credibility, and sometimes the one conversation that changes the direction of your company. The goal shouldn’t be to raise as much as possible. Raise the right amount, from the right people, at the right time. Money gives you runway. Execution decides where you go. What matters more for an early-stage startup — funding or traction? #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #GenerativeAI #AIStartup #Startup #Funding #AngelInvesting #VentureCapital #Entrepreneurship #Founders #TechStartup #Innovation
