Everyone wants to work abroad. But why wait to go abroad before you start working internationally? Yesterday, I attended a really insightful session at Amity University Gurugram with Mr. Noriaki Ikai, Founder & CEO of @WeGrow Inc. (株式会社WeGrow) and WeLive Inc. (株式会社WeLive) Inc., Tokyo. And honestly, it made me rethink the conventional way we look at international careers. We often think the process is: Get a job → wait for visa → move abroad → start working. But what if we flipped it? Start applying → start contributing remotely → build trust → prove your skills → and then make the move. In today's digital world, waiting years for the “right time” or the right permission might not always be the smartest approach. Japan needs skilled engineers. We want to work with Japanese companies. So why not start building that connection now? The session gave us a much more practical perspective on how to approach companies abroad, how to position ourselves, and how to create opportunities instead of simply waiting for them. What made it even better was hearing from our alumni Tushar Agarwal, who shared their experiences and gave us a glimpse into how work culture and work-life balance can be different in Japan. One thought I'm taking away from this session: Don't wait for an opportunity abroad. Start becoming valuable to companies abroad. Because maybe the first step towards working in Japan isn't booking a flight. Maybe it's sending that first application. Grateful to Mr. Noriaki Ikai for such a practical and eye-opening session, and to Amity University for bringing global perspectives closer to students. #Japan #WorkInJapan #GlobalCareers #InternationalOpportunities #CareerGrowth #Engineering #TechCareers #AmityUniversity #WeGrow

The challenge ended 14 days ago. The sheet took 59th day. The official #SDESheetChallenge concluded on Day 45. But I wasn't chasing a number. I was chasing a goal. So I kept going... One problem at a time. One topic at a time. One day at a time. And on Day 59, I can finally say: The takeUforward SDE Sheet is officially completed. Day 59/45 Today's topic: Trie Solved: ✅ Maximum XOR of Two Numbers in an Array ✅ Maximum XOR with an Element from an Array With these last two problems, the final topic—Trie—also comes to an end. Looking back, this journey was never just about solving 191 DSA problems. It was about building consistency. It was about learning how to think. It was about showing up, even after the official challenge had already ended. Some days were exciting. Some days were frustrating. Some days I was late. A few days I even broke my solving streak. But I always came back. That's what I'll remember the most from this journey. A huge thank you to takeUforward, Ankit Mishra, Jagrati Dubey and Raj Vikramaditya (Striver) for creating a roadmap that helped thousands of students, including me, become better problem solvers. And thank you to everyone who liked, commented, shared feedback, and followed this journey from Day 1. Your encouragement genuinely made a difference. 45-day challenge. 59-day journey. 191 problems solved. 1 SDE Sheet completed. #TUF #TakeUForward #SDESheetChallenge #DSA #Coding #ProblemSolving #Consistency #LearningInPublic #SoftwareEngineering #KeepLearning
