Helping Leaders Turn AI into ROI | CPTO | Leading Digital Transformation Across FS, Telco & Government | Follow for posts on AI & business
📧 Reach out for brand collab or new projects: [email removed] In a world flooded with AI hype, leaders are asking one question: "What's the ROI?" I don't just answer that question with strategy slides. I answer it with execution. My career hasn't been spent in theory. It has been spent building complex, resilient systems in some of the most challenging environments on earth. The Execution Track Record Scaled from 0 to 4M+ users As CPTO of QuickCheck (Nigerian Fintech), I helped grow the team to 150+ and the product to 4M+ downloads, proving that technical excellence works anywhere. Global Expansion As Partner & CTO at Seedstars, I didn't just invest; I helped scale the organization to 200+ people across emerging markets. Enterprise Transformation Now at Lab49, I help large-scale organizations in FS and Telco move from "AI Pilots" to production-grade Agentic AI architectures. My Philosophy AI isn't magic; it's infrastructure. The difference between a demo and a business asset is architecture, governance, and the ability to execute. I bridge the gap between the "Boardroom" and the "Engine Room". I make sure AI doesn't just sit in a silo, and it actually changes how the business creates value. When I'm not building You’ll find me kitesurfing, snowboarding, or writing my newsletter, Build What Matters, where I break down AI agents and workflows for leaders. 👇 Follow me for practical insights on AI systems & leadership.

Ask most people which chip runs AI. They'll say "GPU". Only half right 👇 First, the six chips in plain words: CPU: the general-purpose brain. It runs the logic and tells everything else what to do. GPU: thousands of small cores doing math side by side. The workhorse of AI. TPU: Google's custom chip, built only for the matrix math inside neural networks. LPU: Groq’s custom architecture, optimized for fast AI inference using ultra-fast memory on the chip. NPU: a low-power AI chip inside your phone or laptop. DPU: a processor on the network side. It handles networking, encryption, and storage so the other chips don’t have to. How they work together to process a request in a data center: 1. DPU gets it first. It decrypts and routes the traffic. 2. CPU rus the agent. It calls tools, pulls documents, manages the agent, and groups requests. 3. GPU or TPU processes the prompt. This is called prefill. The input tokens are processed in parallel, which eats compute. 4. LPU or GPU generates the answer. This is called decode. It generates one token at a time. Now memory bandwidth becomes a major bottleneck. 5. DPU sends the answer back. In your phone, it's very different. It has an NPU to run smaller models on the device. Your data stays with you. Training happens before any of this. That’s where GPUs and TPUs still do most of the heavy work. Let's not ask which chip is best and focus on what to solve: → Waiting on the prompt? You need compute. → Waiting on the next word? You need fast memory. → Waiting on the network? That's DPU work. Which stage slows your system down today? Learning AI isn't hard if you have the right resources. MIT just made it easier. They put their best AI and machine learning books online. 100% worth saving. I've sorted them into a clear path for you to follow 👇 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 1/ Foundations of Machine Learning The bridge between theory and real algorithms. Start here to learn why things work. 2/ Understanding Deep Learning Deep learning explained with clear visuals and no confusing jargon. 3/ Designing Machine Learning Systems How to build AI systems that work in the real world. 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗨𝗽: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 4/ Algorithms for Decision Making Critical knowledge if you're building agents: how systems decide under uncertainty. 5/ Deep Learning Goodfellow, Bengio, and Courville lay out the math behind modern AI. This is the "Bible". 𝗚𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿: 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 & 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 6/ Reinforcement Learning: An Introduction How agents learn behavior by interacting with their environment. 7/ Distributional Reinforcement Learning Learn more about Reinforcement Learning and how it improves your models. 8/ Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning How agents cooperate, compete, and coordinate in shared environments. Essential for multi-agent systems. 9/ Agents in the Long Game of AI How to reason for long-term and high-stakes agents. 10/ Fairness and Machine Learning How to spot and fix hidden bias in algorithmic decisions. One AI agent is single-player, but the work is multiplayer. The agent is the brain with hands. It plans the steps, then carries them out in your tools. In @zenzap_chat the agent's page has three boxes. → Connected apps. The nervous system. I connected Gmail and a few MCPs. → Memory. It remembers your preferences and what it did. → Custom instructions. The muscle memory. My agent, Bob, asks before each tool call. I approve, then it acts. That covers one agent, but most of my work needs more than one. So I put two agents in one group chat. One for product marketing. One for design. Each has a job and knows what the other is doing. → I asked for a launch video. → The design agent laid out the plan. → Then I changed my mind in one message: no one on camera, script first, storyboard after. → The script agent came back with a new version. → The drafts stayed drafts until I approved. One message redirected both of them, and everyone in the chat could see it. The Zenzap team calls it multiplayer AI for work. Agents prepare. People decide. 👉 Try Zenzap agents today: https://t.co/hWbNHPet0q
If you're not using AI, you're doing something wrong. At least, that's what everyone keeps saying. I've spent the last year shipping agents. The technology was usually fine, the trouble started when they chose what to build. https://t.co/ChfBUSmBet
AI may not take your job. But it could take your first one. The org chart is turning from a pyramid into a diamond. Lots of entry-level people at the bottom doing the basic work, and fewer senior people above them owning bigger work, is gone https://t.co/pPYFtqsF2d
Claude Code just dropped Mods. Here are 3 ways to use them that no one is talking about: 1. Make your sessions talk to each other. One Claude Code session can send a message to another, so one plans while the other builds, and they pass work between them. 2. Change the interface. Ask Claude to change any part of it, so you can have a dashboard right inside Claude Code, showing anything from what your agents are doing to a full overview of your second brain. 3. Send the easy stuff to a cheaper model. A mod can step in and route certain requests to a different model, so simple tasks stop eating into your limits.
