There is one question I keep coming back to. Why do some businesses become brands that people trust, talk about, and keep choosing, while others with similar products and bigger budgets stay invisible? That question is what led me to build Advegen. Advegen is a brand strategy publication and consultancy. Through Founder Spotlights, Marketing Breakdowns, Website Audits, and Brand Breakdowns, I study the decisions behind businesses that create lasting impact. Every piece of content is built around one principle that is, teach something real before selling anything. I started by doing. I spent time running paid media campaigns across Google and Meta, working with eCommerce brands and growth-stage startups. The campaigns that worked all had one thing in common, a clear, trusted brand behind them. The ones that didn't, no amount of budget could fix. That realization pushed me upstream. From execution toward strategy. Today I work with founders and businesses on brand positioning, marketing strategy, and the kind of clarity that makes everything else easier. The message, the story, the reason someone chooses you over everyone else. I study businesses because I am genuinely curious about why they grow. If you are building one, I would like to understand yours.

Do you know this 6'5 giant? Of course you do. That’s Erling Haaland. His team didn’t win the 2026 World Cup 2026, yet you recognized him instantly. Think about Yusuf Dikec too. He won silver at the 2024 Olympics, but became unforgettable because of one simple cue: one hand in his pocket. Two different examples, one branding lesson: achievement gets you recognition, distinctiveness makes you memorable. Haaland has the height, hair, celebration and personality. Dikec has the non chalant pose. Brands work the same way. Tapal has “Tum, main aur ek cup chai.” Dalda has “Jahan mamta wahan Dalda.” Surf Excel has “Daagh tou achay hotay hain.” The goal isn’t to be impossible to compete with. It’s to be impossible to confuse. Tell us about your most memorable brand campaign, and why is it memorable to you.
foodpanda spends crores on marketing. And then sends every visitor to a website that quietly undoes all of it. I spent 20 minutes on their website. Here is what I found. 01 — Weak value proposition. Generic. Forgettable. "It's the food and groceries you love, delivered." That headline could belong to any food delivery app in any country. There is nothing Pakistani about it. Nothing that tells you why Foodpanda over anyone else. A value proposition is not just a sentence on a page. It is the reason someone chooses you specifically. This one gives them no reason. 02 — Asks for commitment before showing anything. The first thing that appears is a popup asking you to download the app. You have not seen a single restaurant. You have not seen a single dish. You have not been given a single reason to stay. They are asking for your commitment before earning it. That is not how trust works. 03 — The product is hidden behind a form field. Before you see what Foodpanda has to offer, you have to enter your address. There is nothing above the fold that makes you hungry before you commit to searching. Uber Eats shows you food first. Your appetite is activated before your intent is confirmed. Foodpanda asks for your location first and hopes curiosity does the rest. 04 — No reviews. No order count. No reason to trust. There is no social proof anywhere on the homepage. No number of orders delivered. No customer ratings. No signal that millions of people have already used this platform and trusted it. A first time visitor has nothing to hold onto before they decide whether to stay or leave. The biggest lesson here is not about Foodpanda. Most Pakistani brands spend heavily on getting people to the door. Then forget to open it. A website is your best salesperson. It works 24 hours a day, never asks for a raise, and speaks to thousands of people at the same time. If it is not converting, everything you spend on marketing is subsidizing a leaky bucket. Save this before your next website review. DMs are open if you want me to look at yours.
