I’m Naman Jain, an open-source contributor and B.Tech student at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT). My journey in tech has been shaped by a deep passion for open source, full-stack development, and AI/ML. I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects through Google Summer of Code 2025 with Jitsi and LFX Mentorship 2025 with CNCF-KubeStellar, along with active contributions to organizations like AsyncAPI. These experiences have strengthened my skills in TypeScript, React, DevOps workflows, and integration testing, while also teaching me the value of collaborative development and community-driven innovation. Beyond code, I enjoy building solutions that solve real-world problems, mentoring peers, and fostering tech communities. Currently, I’m exploring the intersection of AI/ML, large language models, and DevOps with the aim of contributing to impactful research and scalable open-source ecosystems. 🌟 Always open to meaningful collaborations, new challenges, and discussions around open source, AI, and system design.

Had an amazing time at the 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞 (𝐆𝐒𝐨𝐂) 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in Delhi! 🚀 It was a pleasure connecting with fellow GSoC contributors, mentors, maintainers, and alumni, and hearing about their unique open-source journeys. Events like these are a great reminder of how welcoming, collaborative, and inspiring the open-source community truly is. One of the highlights of the day was the 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭, where we had to find alumni matching specific traits by striking up conversations with people across the venue. It was a fun way to meet new people and learn about their experiences. I also had the opportunity to meet Stephanie Taylor and amanda casari, the GSoC Program Lead. After seeing their name in many GSoC emails, it was wonderful to finally meet her in person! A big thank you to the 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 for organizing such a fantastic event. Looking forward to continuing my open-source journey and reconnecting with this incredible community in the future. #GoogleSummerOfCode #OpenSource #OSS #Developers #Google #SoftwareEngineering #TechCommunity #DeveloperCommunity
From attending community events to speaking at one, KCD Delhi was a defining milestone. I had the opportunity to speak at 𝐊𝐂𝐃(𝐊𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬) 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐢 alongside my co speaker Rishi Mondal, where we shared our talk on “𝐊𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 & 𝐊𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭: 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐈 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞” This was my first time speaking at a community conference, and it forced me out of my comfort zone in the best possible way. Standing in front of a room of engineers and practitioners, discussing real problems around model serving, scalability, and production ML, was both challenging and deeply rewarding. What made the experience even more meaningful were the conversations beyond the stage. I had the chance to meet and learn from incredible members of the Kubestellar team - Onkar Shelke, Aayush Saini, Ghanshyam Singh, Kunal Dugar, and Sagar Utekar. It was equally great connecting with Swaraj Pande (スァラジョ・パンデー), Mohammad W., Shubham Gupta, and Akshay kumar. Conversations like these are what make the community truly valuable. A sincere thank you to Saiyam Pathak, Saloni Narang, and all the organizers of KCD Delhi for creating a space where people can share, learn, and grow together. This experience reinforced something important: growth doesn’t come from consuming knowledge; it comes from contributing back. Looking forward to building more, sharing more, and pushing further. #Kubernetes #KServe #KAgent #KCDDelhi #CloudNative #MachineLearning #MLOps #AIInfrastructure #OpenSource #CloudComputing #DevOps #Community #CNCF
