  • Good intentions alone will not let you influence a sector. I used to think passion was the qualifier. It isn't. If you want to improve education, you need to actually understand education — the systems, the gaps, the people inside it. If you want to build technology, you need competence, not just a compelling idea. If you want to influence policy, you need knowledge, wisdom, leadership ability, and understanding of how power and process actually work. And if you genuinely want to create change, you need to be able to create and implement real solutions. Not just describe them. Here's what I've come to believe: Intention gets you interested. Competence gets you trusted. The sector you want to change doesn't need more people who care about it. It needs more people who care about it AND have built the skill to move it. Which one are you building right now — the passion, or the competence to match it?

  • Stop chasing attention. Become so valuable that attention comes looking for you. I've noticed something that many people overlook. You don't have to struggle for attention when you become genuinely valuable. When you solve a significant problem, create something meaningful, develop exceptional competence, or make a real impact, people naturally become interested in what you're doing. Look at people like Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg. Their influence didn't begin with a desperate pursuit of visibility. They focused on building, solving problems, creating value, and pursuing something they believed mattered. Visibility followed value. And that's a principle worth understanding. Don't make getting attention your primary goal. Make becoming valuable your goal. Don't ask, "How can I get people to notice me?" Ask, "What problem can I solve? What value can I create? What can I become exceptionally good at?" When you become relevant, people will want to hear from you. When you create impact, people will look for your work. When you become a solution, people will seek you. Even Jesus demonstrated this principle. He wasn't chasing people's attention; He was meeting needs, teaching truth, healing, and transforming lives. People came looking for Him because of the value and impact He carried. So don't spend your life chasing attention. Build substance. Create value. Solve problems. Make an impact. Because the goal isn't to become someone everyone sees. The goal is to become someone whose value makes people want to see more. #Relevance #Impact #Leadership #Innovation #PersonalBrand #ValueCreation #Purpose

  • What if the idea God gave you is bigger than your current resources? A thought came to me recently: When God gives you an idea for a product He wants you to build, He is also able to make sufficient provision for what is necessary to bring it to completion. Sometimes God gives you the vision before you have the resources. You see the idea, but you don't have the money. You see the product, but you don't yet have all the skills. You see the potential impact, but you don't know how you're going to get it into the hands of the people who need it. And that's where faith becomes important. But faith doesn't mean sitting down and waiting for everything to appear. Faith requires movement. Learn. Build. Test. Improve. Ask for help. Find partners. Create value. Use what is already in your hands. Sometimes the provision comes through an opportunity you didn't expect. Sometimes it comes through the skills you develop. Sometimes it comes through people God connects you with. Sometimes it comes through the income generated from the very work you're building. And sometimes, you simply have to start with what you have and trust God for what comes next. I have learned that you don't always need to see the entire provision before taking the first step. Sometimes the provision for step ten is waiting for your obedience to take step one. So if you have an idea you genuinely believe God has placed in your heart, don't let the absence of resources immediately convince you that it cannot be done. Be responsible. Plan. Learn. Execute. Steward what you have. And trust God with what you don't have yet. The vision may be bigger than your current resources, but your current resources are not bigger than God's ability to provide. #Faith #Innovation #Entrepreneurship #Vision #Purpose #ProductDevelopment #Leadership
