I lead Accenture’s UK & Ireland SAP Security practice, where I built our offering from the ground up into an eight-figure business in under three years. My focus is clear: helping organisations secure their SAP estates against modern cyber threats while driving measurable business outcomes. With 25+ years in enterprise security, I combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to design solutions that protect, detect, respond, and recover across the full security lifecycle. I work with FTSE 100 and global clients across finance, pharma, government, retail, utilities, and FMCG, advising CISOs and senior leaders on how to turn compliance into resilience. What I bring: • Growth leadership – scaled a new security practice to eight-figure revenue in record time. • People development – lead and mentor high-performing teams, building a culture of innovation, accountability, and growth. • Trusted advisor – deliver actionable insight to CISO, BISO, and C-suite stakeholders in highly regulated industries. • Expertise – deep knowledge of SAP Cybersecurity, GRC, and frameworks including NIST, SOX, ISO 27001, FCA, and GDPR. I am committed to building long-term client partnerships, shaping forward-looking strategies, and enabling organisations to pursue growth with confidence in a secure, compliant environment.

🚨 SAP Security professionals: were hiring. One of the questions I get asked most is: Are there any SAP Security opportunities at Accenture? The answer is YES. We're looking for people who can help some of the UK's largest organisations navigate SAP transformation programmes, S/4HANA journeys, security redesigns, governance challenges and enterprise-wide access control initiatives. This isn't just about maintaining roles and authorisations. It's about shaping target operating models, influencing stakeholders, defining security strategy, solving complex business problems and ensuring security is embedded into transformation from day one. If you have experience across areas such as: ✅ SAP Security & Authorisations ✅ Identity amp; Access Management ✅ Segregation of Duties ✅ Privileged Access Management ✅ SAP GRC / Access Control ✅ SAP S/4HANA Transformation I'd love to hear from you. If youve been looking for an opportunity to work on large-scale transformation programmes whilst helping grow one of the leading SAP Security practices in the market, take a look below. 👇 Role details in the comments/jobs link. #SAPSecurity #SAPGRC #S4HANA #CyberSecurity #SAPJobs #Accenture #Hiring
Everyone is talking about what AI can do. Generate content. Analyse data. Recommend actions. Automate processes. But as SAP AI, Joule and agentic capabilities become embedded inside core business processes, I think we're missing a much more important question: What is AI actually allowed to do? Because once AI moves beyond providing insights and starts participating in enterprise processes, governance becomes far more important than functionality. Which identity is it using? What authority has been delegated? What transactions can it initiate? How will activity be monitored? Who remains accountable for the outcome? These aren't technology questions. They're business control questions. In most organisations, AI will inherit the same identities, authorisations, approvals, data quality issues and control weaknesses that already exist inside the SAP landscape. If those foundations aren't trusted, automating on top of them simply allows risk to move faster. That's why I believe AI readiness is increasingly becoming a security and governance conversation. In the latest edition of The SAP Security Brief, I explore why every SAP AI strategy needs a control layer built around identity, delegated authority, transaction boundaries, monitoring and accountability. Because the organisations that get the most value from AI won't necessarily be those that deploy it first. They'll be the ones that can scale adoption without losing control. 📖 New Newsletter: Your SAP AI Strategy Has a Missing Control Layer If SAP AI, Joule or agentic automation is on your roadmap, I'd be interested to hear your perspective: What concerns you more today: AI capability, or AI governance? #SAPSecurity #SAPAI #Joule #ArtificialIntelligence #AIGovernance #IdentitySecurity #SAP #CyberSecurity #CISO #CIO #DigitalTransformation #GRC
Your SAP security team is probably solving the wrong problem. Not because they're bad at their job. Because they're too busy doing it. - Access requests. - Audit evidence. - Role changes. - SoD reviews. - Remediation plans. Most SAP security teams spend their days managing the consequences of risk. Very few have the time to stop and ask why the same risks keep appearing in the first place. Maybe the real issue isn't access. Maybe it's ownership. 📖 New edition of The SAP Security Brief Your SAP Security Team Is Probably Solving The Wrong Problem #SAPSecurity #SAP #CyberSecurity #SAPGRC #S4HANA #RISWithSAP #Governance #IdentityGovernance
