Hi, I’m Polina👋 My journey into the marketing world wasn't exactly planned. I majored in math and, oh boy, was I lost. Then, by chance, I discovered the world of social media. As I dug deeper, I noticed something: most brand content out there is, well, pretty dull and dehumanized. That's when the lightbulb moment hit me. And so Polium was born. We do things differently. Our strategies build genuine connections between brands and their communities. We've delivered: - 200%+ increase in engagement rates - Brand communities grown from 0 to 10,000+ active members - Measurable ROI for 97% of our clients We’re direct. We don't sugarcoat. If a strategy isn't working, we'll tell you, and then we'll fix it. Polium isn't for everyone. We're for brands who want honest feedback, creative solutions, and results they can measure. If that's what you're after, let's talk. I love talking about all things web3 innovation, marketing, social media and community building. Always up for connecting with like-minded folks. DMs are open – drop me a line ✨

Joe Martin, PostHog's marketing lead, posts his quarterly goals as public GitHub issues. I don't know about you but I aaaalways want to know what goes on behind the scenes at successful startups. I'm nosy like that. And I might have spent too much time in the GitHub rabbit hole. Most BTS content is curated and edited a million times before it goes out. I know because I do it for clients. PostHog has a public repo. Why GitHub though? PostHog sells to developers. Developers live on GitHub. So they run their whole company there. And I love that.
Spent 1.2h unpacking the lessons behind a $100M growth engine from Matt Swulinski, based on his work with Wispr Flow, viktor.com, and Superhumann. Here’re the key things to know: 1/ start with paid He validates PLG through paid from day 1. In 2-3 weeks you’ll already know if your product can scale. 2/ $100K meta budget needs 400-500 new creatives a month. creative IS the targeting Viktor built a creative production machine: a couple hundred creators + 5 agencies + an in-house team, with creators producing 3–4 videos/week 3/ best performing creative looks like a mistake Rough camera shake, messy start - people don’t register it as an ad 4/ affiliate is STILL the most under appreciated growth channel 10-15% of Victor's monthly acquisition comes through affiliates 5/ X ads don't print for B2B SAS 6/ build growth loops into the product economics. Viktor ties referrals directly to usage. when customers approach their credit limit, they can earn more through posting on LinkedIn and referring 7/ don't lock into one ICP too early Viktor initially positioned itself as an “AI employee for everyone.” They wanted to discover where demand was strongest. Once an audience showed traction, they verticalized creative, landing pages, and onboarding for that specific ICP p.s. Matt is an absolute legend and I'd recommend everyone to listen to Harry Stebbings 's podcast

Favorite discovery last week r/gtmengineering subreddit There was an AMA with @kpjnyc Head of GTM Systems at @openai He joined when the team was under 100 people, and left at 1,200+ and billions in revenue. He focused on 3 systems. Here's the exact playbook: 1/ Agentic Sales Qualification → Replaced lead scoring with an LLM that reads unstructured notes, transcripts, and signals a scoring model can't fit into a field → Same consistency as scoring. Better judgment than a rubric 2/ GTM Assistant → Not reminders. The real value: connecting sellers working similar deals → If a colleague closed a deal with the same pain points, the system linked them so they could share what worked → "AI facilitating human collaboration, not attempting to substitute for it" 3/ Multi-source enrichment via Clay → Adopted Clay in early 2024 when he was a solo team of one → Speed-ran multi-source data enrichment that would've taken 6 months of vendor integrations The rule he used before automating anything: Does it happen 1,000+ times? → Volume Is the outcome predictable? → Consistency Is a mistake reversible? → Risk All 3 must pass. If not, don't touch it. What he refused to automate: sales conversations, it had to stay human. shoutout to @gtm_engineer for setting it up!
