About Rachael Connolly

I wear a lot of hats 👋 Sales & Marketing Gal. Content creator. UGC creator. LinkedIn obsessive. Fitness girl. Food lover. Traveller. And occasionally, professional over-sharer 😂 By day, I work in Business Development, helping businesses find practical security solutions for their sites. Outside of work, I’m usually creating content, UGC, in the gym, trying a new recipe, planning my next trip or documenting whatever I’m currently obsessed with. I’ve worked across sales, marketing, content creation and personal branding for years and along the way, I’ve built a 16K+ community on LinkedIn and generated 1.4M+ impressions alone last year. I’ve always believed you don’t have to put yourself in one box. So this page is a mix of career, sales, marketing, content, personal branding, fitness, food, travel and real life. Basically, if I’m interested in it, there’s a good chance I’ll post about it 😂 I also create UGC and content for brands I genuinely love and use and I’m always open to the right brand partnerships. 📩 Brand partnerships & UGC: [email removed] If you’re here for the sales stuff, the fitness stuff, the food stuff, the travel stuff or just to see what I’m getting up to next... Welcome 👋

  • EXCITING NEWS FOR LINKEDIN CREATORS 👀 LinkedIn announced something last week that I think is a pretty big deal… They’re introducing new ways for creators to actually make money on the platform. We’re talking: 🎥 In-stream ads that could allow eligible creators to earn revenue from their vids. 💰 Paid 1:1 advice sessions directly through your profile. 📊 A new creator dashboard to track performance and discover opportunities to grow and earn. Now before everyone goes all in to become a full-time LinkedIn influencer 😂 the video monetisation feature is currently being tested with selected creators in the US, with broader access planned over time. But the direction it’s heading in is exciting. I’ve spent a lot of time building my little corner of LinkedIn growing a community of 16,500+ people and generating over 1 million impressions this year. And while I’ve always believed the opportunities here go far beyond follower counts, seeing the platform start to build more ways for creators to monetise their content is genuinely exciting. Especially for those of us working full-time on the daily. Because creating content takes time, creativity and consistency. It’s nice to see the conversation shifting towards how creators can turn that work into actual income. Ireland hopefully we’re not too far behind 🇮🇪👀 Would you be interested in LinkedIn paying creators directly for their content? Or do you think the real money will always be in brand partnerships and opportunities that come from building an audience? Curious to hear your thoughts on this recent news👇 #linkedin #creatoreconomy #brandpartnerships

  • I’m delighted to announce that I have successfully lifted the equivalent of an elephant yesterday evening. So if anyone asks me to move a sofa, help them move house or carry their shopping, I’m going to need them to understand that I’m operating at a different level now. Jokes aside, I love sharing my little fitness journey with you all especially with all the questions and dm’s I get along the way. One thing I’ve learned is that progress doesn’t always feel significant while you’re in the middle of it. And I mean this in any scenario in life. You just keep showing up, putting in the work and trusting that it will add up overtime 🥹 Then one day your workout app tells you that you’ve lifted an elephant on leg day…. 🤯 Imagine what that consistency can do in other areas of your life too. So, what’s everyone training for, in the gym or in life? 😊 #motivation #fitness

  • There are 16,500 of you here now… So I think it’s probably time I reintroduced myself. But not the polished LinkedIn version. The real me 😂 10 random facts about me: 1. I’m Irish ☘️ although I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of years living abroad. 2. I’m a huge believer in signs, synchronicities and trusting your gut. Sometimes probably a little too much. 3. I’m a massive believer that your life can change completely in a year. 4. I’ve lost over 25kg in the last 6 years. Probably the biggest thing I’ve ever done for myself and the reason I’m now slightly obsessed with the gym. 5. I genuinely enjoy LinkedIn. Yes, I know how tragic that sounds 😂 6. I could eat oats every morning and genuinely be delighted 🥣 7. I have two golden retrievers, Honey and Bailey, and they’ve no concept of personal space. 8. I’m terrible at replying to messages but excellent at sending voice notes. 9. I’m a big fan of a long walk with a podcast on. 10. And finally… I’ve always been much more interested in being myself than trying to fit into what I think I’m supposed to be. That’s probably the biggest lesson I’ve learned over the last few years. The more I stopped trying to be the “right” version of myself the more things started to happen. So hello 👋🏼 If you’re new here, welcome. If you’ve been here for a while you probably already know what im like 😆 Now tell me one random fact about YOU👇🏼 #friday #introduction #creatoreconomy
