About Ritesh Maurya

Backend Developer | Node.js · Express · PostgreSQL · AWS I build production-grade backend systems. Trained at Sharpener's intensive Backend Development Bootcamp, and applied everything by designing and deploying JobZy — a full SaaS job tracking platform — solo from scratch using Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL (AWS RDS), S3, SES, SQS, and EC2 with Nginx + PM2. It includes JWT auth, Razorpay payments, ATS score checking, CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and a load-balanced architecture using Nginix as a Load-balancer. What I bring to a backend role: • REST API design and development (Node.js / Express) • PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization • AWS cloud (EC2, RDS, S3, SES, SQS, ALB) • Authentication (JWT, bcrypt, role-based access control) • CI/CD pipelines ( GitHub Actions, Nginx) • Payment integration (Razorpay) • Git / GitHub version control Currently open to Backend Developer / Node.js Engineer roles (0–2 years exp) — Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, or Remote India. Available to join immediately. DM me or connect — happy to share GitHub or a quick project walkthrough.

  • Excited to begin a new chapter as an SDE-1 Backend Developer at Syntellite! Today was my orientation session, and it was a great start. The warm welcome and positive environment made me feel comfortable from day one. A special thanks to Prateek Jagadish Sir and Anuvab Nayak Sir for their guidance and for making the onboarding experience smooth. I'm looking forward to learning, contributing to scalable backend systems, and growing as a software engineer. Excited for the journey ahead! 🚀 #Centrelight #SDE1 #BackendDeveloper #SoftwareEngineer #NodeJS #Engineering #Learning #CareerGrowth #NewBeginnings

  • 🚀 Episode 4 of My Placement Journey I made a small mistake in my SDE-1 coding round. It wasn't a difficult problem. I knew the concept. But under interview pressure, I initially returned a "Set" instead of an "Array". With a small hint, I corrected my approach using the spread operator. And honestly? That small mistake taught me something much bigger about technical interviews. Knowing the answer is only one part of the interview. How you think. How you communicate. How you handle pressure. And how quickly you learn from a mistake. All of these matter. Recently, I appeared for an SDE-1 Technical Interview, where the discussion covered several areas of backend engineering. Here's what we discussed 👇 🔹 Backend & Project Architecture → My Job Tracker project and its database schema → Relationships between Users, Jobs, Interviews, and ATS Scores → Why I chose PostgreSQL over MongoDB → Relational data and transaction support 🔹 Authentication & Backend Fundamentals → Login request lifecycle → JWT-based authentication → Express.js middleware → Authentication vs Authorization → Environment variables and secret management 🔹 API Performance & Debugging → Identifying slow API responses → Server-side logging → Debugging 500 Internal Server Errors → Synchronous vs Asynchronous execution in Node.js → A real debugging experience while working with the Gemini API 🔹 Coding Round The problem was simple: Remove duplicate values from an array while maintaining the original order. My first approach returned a "Set". The expected output was an "Array". A small hint helped me realize the mistake and I corrected it using the spread operator. 💡 My biggest takeaway from this interview? Technical knowledge is important. But clear communication is equally important. I realized I need to improve in a few areas: ✅ Make my answers more structured and concise ✅ Explain the core concept before going deeper ✅ Connect technical concepts with real project experience ✅ Become more comfortable with testing and debugging tools ✅ Practice solving problems under interview pressure I may not know the final outcome of this interview yet. But I do know what I gained from it. A better understanding of where I stand today. And a clearer idea of where I need to improve tomorrow. Because the goal isn't just to clear one interview. 🚀 The goal is to become a better engineer after every interview. Continuing to learn. Continuing to build. Continuing to improve. One interview at a time. One lesson at a time. 💻 What is one lesson an interview taught you that you still remember today? #PlacementJourney #SDE1 #SoftwareEngineer #BackendDeveloper #NodeJS #JavaScript #PostgreSQL #ExpressJS #CodingInterview #TechInterview #CareerGrowth
