Are you struggling to adopt AI in your business? Feeling overwhelmed by tools, systems, and where to even begin? It’s time to demystify AI and make it work for your business. Here’s the reality: AI is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. It can streamline workflows, personalise marketing, and scale your business. But most businesses fail to implement it effectively. Why? Because they don’t know where to start. Here’s what you need: → A solid strategy aligned with your goals → Systems and workflows to automate the mundane → Scalable solutions that grow with you → A clear roadmap to guide the journey This takes time, expertise, and the right tools. So, you have two choices: 1️⃣ Struggle to figure it out alone. 2️⃣ Work with experts who’ve done it before. I’ve worked with businesses across industries to build AI-powered systems that: ☑️ Automate repetitive tasks ☑️ Save time and resources ☑️ Deliver consistent results Now, I want to help you. Here’s what you get with my Growth Roadmap: → A tailored strategy designed for your business. → Custom systems to streamline workflows. → Scalable solutions to drive long-term success. → Ongoing support to keep everything on track. 21,500+ of you are following along. Thank you 😊 It feels like a good moment to share a little more about why I post here in the first place! I’ve started a few businesses along the way, so I know what goes into building one and then trying to grow it! You can have a good idea. You can have customers who want it. But so much still comes back to you: finding the next customer, delivering the work, making decisions, solving problems and keeping everything moving. My first business was Travelace. We gathered customer feedback and marketing data through kiosks and iPads. I used to describe it as “TripAdvisor meets SurveyMonkey”. We were in airports, universities and retail outlets, proving the concept in the real world. I was winning awards 'Entrepreneur of the Year' 'Best New Business' through our LEO Limerick (still appreciate it!) But behind the scenes, I was working all hours. I had spent €10K on branding alone before I had earned any revenue, trying to make the business look like a much bigger operation than it was. I think I was on the third version of the website when a major potential client asked us to run a one-month trial in their landmark store. The challenge came when I tried to scale. I had put so much energy, time and money into building the business that there was very little left for selling it. I ran out of steam and money! Then we moved to the Middle East, and things took a new direction. Marketing Mentors came next: a team of experienced go-to-market mentors helping startups with the practical work that I often felt accelerator programmes were not covering. And The AI Team has been a natural progression from there. AI has helped me reinvent how I work. I now work with clients from Dubai to the US, and I simply could not operate internationally in the way I do without it. I think many business owners plan too small because they are planning around what they can personally manage. That is why I share practical AI education for SMEs. Websites, research, content and campaigns are now much more within reach for smaller businesses. Of course the foundations still matter: a clear offer, a real customer problem, good positioning, sound decisions and a system for turning attention into opportunity. I also wanted to show clients what LinkedIn could do by doing it myself. A clearer focus and consistency have paid off. I still get the occasional DM telling me that I am doing it wrong, I should be converting more sales etc🙂 For me, this is not just about what happens in the feed. Useful, consistent content helps us get found elsewhere too. LinkedIn ranked second among the domains cited in Semrush’s AI-search visibility study, another reason it is worth treating your profile and content as business assets, not just social posts. The best part of all has been getting to know and collaborate with fellow AI practitioners who genuinely care about small businesses, lot's more of that to come!
Bookings are officially open. Last week I shared a simple Save the Date for Making It Happen - The Connected Growth Day for Women in Business and, genuinely, I was taken aback by the response. I think I know why it struck a chord. There is no shortage of AI tools, training, prompts, platforms and advice right now. What a lot of business owners are still asking is: How does all of this actually work together? And, more importantly, how does it work for my business? That is exactly why we created this day. On Friday 16 October, I’m bringing together six brilliant practitioners for one practical, connected working day to mark National Women’s Enterprise Day. Not seven disconnected presentations. Not another AI event full of “tips and tricks”. We’re joining the pieces together - your business knowledge, systems, marketing, content, workflows and AI and showing you how to start making them work as one. And as Nancy put it, this is very much sleeves up. We want to show you, but we also want you to build. During the day we’ll work through: 👉how to use AI safely, with clear human guardrails 👉how to organise the knowledge your business runs on 👉how to turn LinkedIn and content into a repeatable system 👉how Google Workspace and Claude can support the way you work 👉how to identify and design your first useful AI teammate 👉how to bring your brand and visual content into the system 👉and how to leave with a practical 30-day implementation plan You do not need to be technical. This is for women already running businesses, juggling clients, marketing, admin, delivery, growth and probably far too much else besides. We are all strong advocates for women in AI and women using AI. Not because everyone needs to become an AI expert, but because this technology can give women in business more capacity, more leverage and more choice in how they grow. We’ll also send prep work in advance so you arrive ready to work on your own business and get as much value as possible from the day. Making It Happen Friday 16 October 2026 09:00–16:00 Irish time Live online Seven experts. One practical day. Full programme and booking details are now live: 👉 https://lnkd.in/etb4WS99 I’m very excited to finally open this one.
