  • Most people use Claude Code without knowing these 10 commands exist. And some of them can save you a lot of time, tokens, and unnecessary debugging. Here are 10 worth knowing: 1. `/skill-doctor` → Which skills are actually useful? See skill usage, token costs, and which skills you rarely use. 2. `/skills` → Which skills should you keep? Manage your installed skills and disable the ones you don't need. 3. `/doctor` → Is your setup healthy? Diagnose installation, configuration, and environment issues. 4. `/context` → What's eating your context window? See what's taking up space in your current session. 5. `/usage` → Where are your limits going? Track usage, costs, and plan limits. 6. `/permissions` → What can Claude do without asking? Control which commands and file changes need your approval. 7. `/mcp` → Are your integrations working? Manage MCP servers and check connection or authentication issues. 8. `/memory` → What does Claude remember? Manage CLAUDE.md instructions and auto-memory. 9. `/rewind` → Made a mistake? Go back. Restore an earlier checkpoint instead of manually undoing everything. 10. `/diff` → What exactly changed? Review file modifications before moving forward. One thing I've learned while working with AI coding tools: Getting better results isn't always about writing better prompts. Sometimes it's about understanding the tools you're already using. Which Claude Code command do you use the most?

  • I've been to San Francisco 10 times this year. And it's completely changed how I think about my next career move. I still remember when getting a single interview call felt like the biggest achievement. Every interview felt like an uphill battle just to prove I belonged. When I was searching for my first job, I sent over 1,300 applications before finally breaking into tech. Now, I find myself thinking less about getting opportunities and more about choosing the right ones. This week in SF, I've been meeting founders, engineers, and researchers building some incredible things in AI. And honestly, these conversations have made me think a lot more about the kind of problems I want to solve and how much more I want to grow in AI. But here's something I've realized. You can be happy with your current job and still be curious about your next chapter. The hard part? Finding the time to explore opportunities while already working full-time. That's why I'd recommend Teal to anyone quietly exploring their next career move. When you work full-time, exploring shouldn't feel like an unpaid second job. Teal handles the heavy lifting: ↳ Save interesting roles and keep them organized in one place ↳ Match your resume to the job description automatically in minutes Because at this stage, it's not about applying to more jobs. It's about finding opportunities that are actually worth your time. Teal has a free plan and is free to get started: https://tealhq.co/4AJFQQD Are you happy in your current role, but quietly keeping an eye on what is next? ♻️ Repost this if you know someone thinking about their next career move. #TealPartner

  • I still remember what it felt like trying to break into tech. I sent over 1,300 applications before landing my first opportunity. And a huge part of the frustration wasn’t even applying. It was figuring out where I should be applying in the first place. You’d find a company, open their careers page, realize there was nothing relevant, close the tab, and do the same thing again. Over and over. I kept thinking there had to be a better way to answer one simple question: Who is actually hiring for the kind of role I want? So I built Hiring Radar. I described what I wanted to Replit: a website that brings job openings from different companies into one place and lets you filter them by: → City → Role → Industry → Company size Then you can open a company, see the matching roles, check the listed location, and go directly to the original careers page to apply. You can also see when each source was last checked, because job listings change all the time. Right now, I’m starting with San Francisco, New York, and Seattle. It’s still an early version, so it doesn’t cover every company in those cities yet. But this is the part I love: An idea I had because of my own job search is now something people can actually use. And I already have a bunch of ideas for the next version: more cities, more companies, salary filters, experience levels, remote/hybrid filters, and job alerts.
