I'm an experienced interviewer and career coach with a passion for helping people succeed in their careers. I've conducted over 500 interviews and reviewed over 2000 resumes, giving me a deep understanding of what employers are looking for. I've also helped numerous people with their resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles, and I've guided and mentored several others to get promoted. I can help you with: 1. Resume and cover letter writing: I can help you write effective resumes and cover letters that will make you stand out from the competition. 2. LinkedIn profile optimization: I can help you create a LinkedIn profile that will showcase your skills and experience in the best possible light. 3. Interview preparation: I can teach you how to ace your interviews by helping you prepare for common questions, practice your delivery, and build your confidence. 4. Career guidance and mentorship: I can help you identify your career goals, develop a plan to achieve them, and provide support and guidance along the way. Here is what some of my past customers say about my work - The changes you have done to my resume are magical, all of sudden recruiters are contacting me - I had no clue a resume could be written in less than 2 pages and still talk about my 20 years of work experience - The resume looks good to me. I have read several times that resume should not be more than a couple of pages and in all honesty I have seen resumes on one page but never could shorten my own! Thanks for making mine short and crisp without skipping anything of significance If you're ready to take your career to the next level, contact me today. I'd love to learn more about your goals and how I can help you achieve them.

Pluto wasn’t playing properly, so the Sun kicked him out of the solar system. Apparently, the Sun is quite bossy. Didn’t know learning science from my 5 year old daughter could come with its own share of gossip!
Most people looking for startup jobs only search LinkedIn. The best startup roles are often posted somewhere else. Many of the top venture capital firms run their own job boards, listing open roles across every company they have invested in. These are funded startups that are actively hiring, often before the roles show up anywhere else. So I put together a list of places worth checking: → VC firm job boards, where you can browse hundreds of funded startups in one place. → Startup job aggregators built specifically for early-stage companies. → Newsletters that send curated startup roles straight to your inbox. → Fellowships and talent networks for students and early-career professionals. Finding the role is only the first step, though. Startups read resumes differently from big companies, and a few changes make a big difference: Show ownership. Startups want people who build, not people who wait for instructions. Lead with projects you drove from start to finish. Show speed. Mention how quickly you shipped, launched, or delivered results. Show range. Startups value people who can handle more than one job. If you worked across functions, say so. Keep it tight. One page, clear results, no filler. Founders and early hiring managers are busy. Update your LinkedIn to match. Many startup recruiters check your profile before they even open your resume. You do not need to check every source on this list. Pick three or four that fit your goals and add them to your weekly routine. Save this for your next search, and share it with someone who is looking for their next role. DM me if you need help with your resume and LinkedIn. I wanted to join my apartment committee as a tenant. They said it wasn't possible. "Owners only." I kept asking until they finally agreed to interview me. First question: my past committee experience. I had none. Second question: why I wanted the role. I didn't have a great answer. Third question: what value I would bring. That wasn't clear, even to me. Then they asked if I had any questions for them. I asked whether they knew how many followers I have on LinkedIn. Silence. None of those questions was hard. Every one of them was predictable. I hadn't prepared for the start, because I assumed the start didn't count. A lot of candidates do the same in job interviews. They prepare for the tough questions and walk in unprepared for the first 10 minutes. That's exactly when the interviewer forms the picture they spend the rest of the hour testing. Before your next interview, write down your answers to the three easy ones: Why this role? Why this company? What do you know about us?
