About Vittoria Lizzi

2x exit Founder, building femtech startup Resilia to support women + couples during & after reproductive loss and linked infertility | Trusted by BCG, UBS, AXA, XING | Nova Member & TEDx Speaker

As Co-Founder of Resilia, a pioneering healthtech and femtech startup, I am dedicated to creating solutions that support women and couples navigating reproductive loss. Resilia has achieved significant milestones in its early stages, including acceptance into the IdeaBoosterLab IT program, winning the Sanidays 2026 startup competition, and being featured in notable publications such as Vanity Fair and Startup Italia. My academic background includes studies in healthcare (Bsc in Midwifery), a master in HR & Digital Skills, as well as leadership at SDA Bocconi and HEC Paris, with a more recent focus on management and innovation. My last experiences spans between international roles as HR Business Partner at Fincons Group and advisory positions at startups. I am passionate about driving impactful and inclusive initiatives that empower individuals and organizations while leveraging expertise in human resources, healthcare, and reproductive health.

  • There is still no HR leave policy for losing a baby at 6 weeks. So people log it as food poisoning or having a flu. I've seen this from both sides. First as a midwife. Then as a HR Business Partner and Founder who went through six pregnancy losses while trying to build. When it happens, there is no playbook. No standard company policy. No manager checklist for what to do when someone logs off abruptly on a Tuesday afternoon. Most people just take two sick days. They make up a stomach bug. They sit through Zoom calls while cramping, terrified someone will ask why their camera is off. Companies spend thousands on wellness perks, gym subscriptions, and fruit baskets in the kitchen lol Yet when 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in loss, the corporate response is almost always total silence. Not because managers are cold. Usually just because nobody ever taught them what to say without feeling awkward or scared of crossing boundaries. We don't need another corporate webinar on resilience. We just need teams that know how to handle grief without making employees lie on their timesheet. Still working on fixing this every day at Resilia 🤍

As a founder, I know how much transparency and clarity matter when it comes to cash flow, grants, and fundraising rounds. That's why I chose to join The Value Foundry as Ambassador. Let me explain who this support can truly make a difference for: → Founders and early-stage teams preparing a round who need a solid investor deck and hands-on negotiation support → Startups looking to apply for grants without locking up resources or fronting cash → Anyone who needs to build a budget, business plan, and financial model to truly understand their sustainability → Companies looking for the strategic direction of an external CFO, without the cost of a full-time hire No abstract consulting: practical, founder-to-founder support to help you make financial decisions with clarity. For those in my network, I've arranged dedicated benefits and conditions on these services. If you're planning your cash flow or preparing a raise, feel free to reach out in DM 🩷

  • I once joined a call from a fertility clinic waiting room. Earbuds in, hospital gown on, pitch deck ready. The nurse called my name right as the partner asked about our go-to-market. I muted myself, walked into the room, lay down on the table, and unmuted two minutes later like nothing happened. That's not a flex. That's just what it looks like when you're building a reproductive health company while being your own target user lol Some days I'm a founder. Some days I'm a patient. Most days I'm both at the same time, and the line between the two disappeared a long time ago 😅 When I read our user research, I don't need empathy exercises. I lived the data. Six pregnancy losses, multiple IVF cycles, and every emotion our product is designed to support, I've felt in real time. That's a superpower and a weight. Because it means I can't unsee what's broken in the system. But it also means every setback in the company hits twice. Once as a business problem. Once as something deeply personal. People sometimes ask how I separate the two. I don't. Resilia exists because I couldn't. And honestly, I think that's okay. Maybe even necessary. The best health products aren't built by people who studied the problem from a distance. They're built by people who are still living it. I'm still living it 🩷
