Documentation

Set up and use Naano for Attio.

What the Naano app writes in your Attio workspace, from the first connection to disconnecting it.

Overview

Naano is a marketplace where B2B brands book LinkedIn and X creators for sponsored posts. The Naano app for Attio sends the results of those campaigns to your Attio workspace, so your team sees them next to the rest of your CRM.

  • Every post published for your campaigns, on LinkedIn or X, with its creator, link, publication date and impressions.
  • The people who commented on or reacted to your LinkedIn posts, as Attio People.
  • For each of these people, the creator, the platform and the post that brought them.

Data goes one way, from Naano to Attio. Naano reads your Attio workspace only to set up its object and fields, and to find the people and companies you already have.

Requirements

  • A Naano brand workspace. You connect Attio from that workspace.
  • An Attio workspace to send the data to.
  • Permission to approve apps in that Attio workspace. If Attio does not grant the permissions Naano needs, ask an Attio admin to approve the app, then connect again.

Setup

  1. Sign in to Naano and open Integrations in your brand workspace.
  2. On the Attio card, select Connect Attio.
  3. Attio opens. Choose the Attio workspace to connect and approve the permissions Naano requests.
  4. You are back in Naano. The first sync starts right away and can take a few minutes.
  5. Once it is done, the Attio card shows Connected, the time of the last sync and how many posts and people were updated.

Installing the app from the Attio App Store leads to the same Attio card in Naano, after you sign in.

What gets created in Attio

The Naano posts object

Naano adds a custom object named Naano posts, with one record per published post. Naano updates the same record on every sync, using the post’s link to find it.

Attributes of the Naano posts object
AttributeWhat it holds

Naano fields on People

Naano adds these attributes to your People object:

People and companies

  • If a person is already in Attio with the same LinkedIn profile, Naano adds its fields and leaves the rest of the record as it is.
  • Otherwise Naano creates the person with the name and job title shown on their LinkedIn profile.
  • Naano links a new person to a company only when exactly one company in your Attio workspace has the company name from their LinkedIn headline. Naano never creates a company.
  • Naano does not send email addresses or phone numbers.

Sync frequency

  • Naano syncs every hour.
  • To sync right away, select Sync now on the Attio card in Naano Integrations.
  • Each sync only writes the posts and people that changed since the previous one. The first sync of a large workspace can take a few hourly runs.
  • Post stats are updated at the next sync after Naano measures them.

Permissions

Naano requests two Attio permissions, and no other:

Attio permissions requested by Naano
PermissionWhy Naano needs it
record_permission:read-writeCreate and update Naano posts and People records, and look up your existing People and Companies to match them.
object_configuration:read-writeCreate the Naano posts object and the Naano attributes on People, once per workspace.

Naano does not request access to notes, tasks, comments, lists or workspace members. It never reads or changes your deals.

Disconnect

  • From Naano: on the Attio card in Integrations, select Disconnect. Naano revokes its access and stops syncing.
  • From Attio: uninstall the Naano app from your workspace. Naano stops syncing, and its Attio card in Naano asks you to reconnect.

Data already written stays in Attio: the Naano posts object, its records and the Naano fields on People. You can delete them in Attio at any time.
