Founder @Payment Methods List & creator of the only APMs course globally | Content @The Payments Dude | The Payments CEO podcast (coming soon)
I help payment companies, consulting firms and merchants figure out which Alternative Payment Methods as well as orchestration, fraud, payouts and stablecoin partners are actually worth their time - instead of guessing from vendor decks, websites and stale spreadsheets. Founder of Payment Methods List: practitioner-curated intelligence on 310+ payment methods across 180+ countries, built for teams who need a real answer to "should we launch this APM in this market" faster than a 6-week research sprint. Also run The Payments Dude (Content, Trainings & GTM advisory) and founded The Payments CEO podcast. 14 years' experience in B2B SaaS and 13 years' experience in FinTech: Payments and Fraud — PAY.ON/ACI Worldwide, Fraugster, Ravelin, Payrails (employee #12), Thunes, PayRetailers. - If you're a PSP, Orchestration provider, Gateway, Payment intelligence company or Consultant/Consulting firm, I can help you figure out which markets and APMs to prioritize, and get your GTM story sharp enough to close Tier-1 merchants faster. - If you're an enterprise Merchant, I can tell you which local payment methods are worth the integration effort in a given market, and which are noise- plus how to think about stablecoins now that the competitive picture (X Money, Open USD, Robinhood's yield play) is actually moving. - If you are an APM/LPM or Payment aggregator, let's talk! - If you are an VC or angel investor, let's talk as well. Where I've done this: iGaming/Gambling/Betting, On-demand (food delivery, ride-hailing, eScooters), Marketplaces, Retail, Gaming, Forex, Trading, Adult, Crypto, Travel - EMEA, US, LATAM, Asia. Fluent in English, German, Spanish, Catalan, working French. Strong Italian/Portuguese/Romanian comprehension. Angel investor, startup mentor, 100+ books a year, singer + pianist.

Revolut's new stablecoin has 80 million potential users and €250,961 in it. EURR went live August 26 in Denmark, Poland and Portugal, issued by Bridge, the Stripe company, right as Revolut kicks Tether's USDT out of Europe by August 31 to stay MiCA compliant. Zero fee on euro to EURR conversion. No excuse not to use it. Two hundred and fifty thousand euros showed up anyway. Say EURR out loud a few times. It stops sounding like a currency and starts sounding like a pirate clearing his throat: "EURRRRRRRRR!" GBPR is coming. USDR is coming. Every fiat currency is apparently one branding meeting away from sounding like the Sea Captain from The Simpsons. Circle's EURC sits at roughly €394 million. Revolut launched to 80 million people and picked up a rounding error. Distribution is the one thing Revolut nailed, the app was already open. What's missing is a reason. Nobody has explained to a Revolut customer why moving their euros on-chain beats leaving them exactly where they were. 400-ish stablecoins exist right now. Maybe 40 get real volume. A good chunk of the rest spend their whole life as a ticker that sounds like a pirate and a market cap that fits in a WhatsApp group's bar tab. I'm bullish on stablecoins anyway, just not because consumers are desperate for a new way to pay for their Zara order. The real opportunity is behind the scenes: cross-border, treasury, FX, payouts, merchant funding, PSP settlement, agentic payments. The consumer never needs to know one was involved. Which one breaks out of the €300K club first? Want to know which APMs don't use stablecoins somewhere in the background? 100% of them. DM me for one of the final free merchant slots for Payment Methods List, capped at 100 payment experts at top international merchants.
8 life lessons I know at 37 that I wish I had known at 27: 1. Time beats money. Every time. Buy back your hours before you buy anything else. 2. Learning compounds harder than any investment you'll make. 3. Cash loses to inflation, quietly, every year. Startups, bonds, crypto, index funds, gold, silver, whatever you'd like! Buy and forget about it. Best time was 2016. Second best is today. 4. Get a why, a purpose, but don't marry it. It's allowed to expire. Might be a new one in 2 years. 5. Health (physical & mental) is Prio 1, without it, nothing else on this list works. Get 15-min of sunlight as soon as you wake up. Eat as lean & healthy as you can. Train 4x weekly. Spend a some time daily in nature. Sleep 7-8 hours. Meet people several times a week. Medidate 15-min daily. Go for walks daily to get better ideas for problems in any area of your life your stuck in. Listen to podcast/Youtube videos/audiobooks (at 2x speed) or read a normal book, daily. 6. For all areas in life: Act. Learn. Iterate. Fast. Same loop for health, wealth, relationships. 7. Every genuinely successful person I've worked with wanted to be told they were wrong. And moreover, they were always willing to take time of their busy calendars to help. Help others whenever you can. 8. Ego is the tax you pay for needing applause. I paid it for over a decade. Stopped renewing the subscription. Which one took you the longest to actually learn? Or any others I've missed? P.S. Thanks so much everyone for the birthday wishes, you amazing people! I'll be responding to each of you personally today.
