  • 81% of job seekers got rejected in the past year… without talking to a SINGLE person at the company. Not a recruiter. Not a hiring manager. Not even a bot. 😬 That's from Greenhouse's new 2026 candidate report (1,200 US job seekers). And the rest of it reads like a recruiter group chat: 👉 77% used AI in their job search 👉 60% changed (or thought about changing) how they write so they DON'T sound like AI 👉 40% of the ones trying to beat the screening bots added skills or keywords they don't actually have 🙃 👉 About 1 in 3 of those bot-beaters added HIDDEN text meant for an AI reviewer 👀 👉 Being ghosted was the #1 complaint from people who DID get an interview (45%) So candidates are writing for the robots… Then rewriting so they don't sound like the robots… And recruiters are on the other side going "why do all of these resumes sound the same?!" 😂 Nobody's winning this game. 13 years in recruiting and the stuff that still works is so boring it hurts: • A real human interview, even 15 minutes • Telling people where they stand • Closing the loop (yes, even with a "no") Recruiters, TA leaders, hiring managers… What's ONE thing you do so candidates don't feel like they applied into a black hole? 👇 #recruiting #talentacquisition #candidateexperience #hiring #recruiters

  • Yes, that's me. In a dinosaur headband. At my son's trunk or treat. 🦖 Zero regrets 😂 Fun facts from NRF's 2026 Halloween survey: 👉 $13.5 BILLION expected on Halloween this year 👉 60% of families w/kids reuse half or more of their costume stuff year to year Parents are the kings and queens of "we already have one at home." And it got me thinking... recruiters, why don't we do this with candidates? We spend $$$ and HOURS sourcing brand new people for every req... while our ATS is full of amazing humans who already raised their hand once. Before you open a fresh search this week: 👉 Search your ATS 👉 Check the people who said "not right now" 👉 Re-engage the referrals that went cold Recruiters, TA folks... how many of your hires come from candidates already in your ATS? 👇 #Recruiting #TalentAcquisition #CandidateRediscovery #Sourcing #Halloween

  • 3 big recruiting tech announcements in ONE week. 🤖 All with the same idea: Let AI agents do more of the screening. 👉 Oct 20: ICIMS announced a Hiring Agent that works inside Microsoft Teams (rolling out to customers Oct 26) 👉 Oct 22: Paylocity launched Recruiting Optimizer, with AI agents for candidate engagement, screening questions + scheduling 👉 Oct 23: Dayforce agreed to acquire Ribbon, an AI voice interviewer with 1 MILLION+ completed interviews One million interviews. Run by a bot. 🤯 Meanwhile only 69% of recruiting pros are satisfied with their main recruiting tech… DOWN from 82% last year (Employ). So the vendors are racing to add agents… …while some of us are still asking why the ATS didn't send the rejection email 😂 My take: An AI screen is only as good as the intake behind it. If the intake call was a mess, the bot is just a mess FASTER. Recruiters, quick poll: Would you let an AI run your first-round screen?👇 ✅ Yes, already do 🤔 Maybe, for high-volume roles 🚫 Absolutely not #recruiting #recruitingtech #HRtech #talentacquisition
